We had a hard time to get a hotel in Nagoya because we did not have any reservations prior to our arrival. When we found the Tsuchiya, we were tired from walking all over the area looking for a hotel that had rooms for us and we also left our luggages with our grandmother near the train station so that she didn't have to walk far. We told the staffs about this and they immediately sent a car to pick up my grandma and our luggages and they also gave us cold tea while waiting at the lobby. They also have an English speaker and a Filipino among their staffs so there were no problems in terms of communication. The shared toilet was a bit of a struggle to use but the hot spring bath more than made up for it! The hot spring bath was really refreshing and using it was a great way to end the day.
