It’s totally worth it because you never know cancellation policies, especially abroad. This was the case with Giardino Marling. I made a reservation shortly after they opened on April 5th and sure enough, work pulled me away and I needed to cancel. I ran through the protocol and reserved for August where there’s little chance of cancelling. Can’t wait to go!
