Agriturismo Al Picchio

The place is called Al Picchio and it's situated in Trentino-Alto Adige region, however some careless users have added wrong photos of Il Picchio Hotel in Tuscany to its TripAdvisor profile, which makes the search confusing and misleading. I'd like to warn those interested in Al Picchio, that all the images posted here, except the ones made by Franziska50 and myself, have nothing to do with Al Picchio. Al Picchio is an ancient manor of 16th century, restored with preserved original architecture. The place is very atmospheric, it gives you both the spirit of antiquity and modern comfort. The hotel is part of the farm, it's surrounded by vineyards, apple orchards, flower beds and vegetable gardens. All these natural and eco-friendly products are available for guests at breakfast. Well, breakfast is a separate big story: several types of cheese, prosciutto, fresh crusty bread, muesli, local fruit, jams made of these fruit, natural juices and homemade cakes are incredible! The choice is so diverse that everyone can find something to his taste. The hotel has a small shop where you can buy fresh goods grown on the farm, sauces, jams and juices also produced locally. The hotel stands just half-an-hour drive from Verona and Lake Garda, which makes it a perfect stop on your trip through Italy. P.S. Site administrators, it would be great if you could delete the wrong images of the hotel, as finding the right info on the place becomes a mess and there's no chance to see how the real place actually looks like. If you delete the wrong photos you may also delete first couple of sentences in my review. Thank you!
