We had the opportunity to spend a few unforgettable days in Zalakaros, one of Hungary's most popular spa towns. After an easy two-hour drive from Budapest, we arrived at a lovely apartment nestled among vineyards and fruit trees. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, quiet and green. The apartment was cozy, very clean, and well-equipped, it had everything we needed for a longer stay. Every morning we woke up to birdsong 🐦‍⬛🎶🐦and had our coffee ☕on the terrace, just soaking in the quiet and the view. It’s the kind of place where you can really breathe and slow down. The Zalakaros thermal spa 💙is just a 3-minute drive from the property, but it's also reachable with a longer, pleasant walk. What we appreciated most was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, and even surprised us with a bottle of their homemade wine,🍷🥂 which was absolutely lovely. You don’t get that kind of personal touch everywhere. There are several apartments on the property, each with its own charm and view. We stayed in the two-bedroom unit, which was perfect, and the garden around it was so well-kept and calming. Zalakaros itself is a gem, the spa is fantastic, but there's also plenty to do nearby. Lake Balaton isn’t far, and the local nature spots like the Buffalo Reserve and lookout tower are definitely worth a visit. Let’s not forget the food, this region is full of tasty local dishes and cozy restaurants.🥗 The food scene here is a treat! This place is perfect whether you're a couple, a family, or a group of friends looking to disconnect and recharge. If you're looking for true rejuvenation, a peaceful environment, and heartfelt hospitality, we wholeheartedly recommend this place. 💗😃👍
