Upon arrival we noticed that the reception was very clean, modern and the staff were welcoming. They spoke brilliant English and checked us in quickly. The staff were brilliant throughout and were very helpful. They gave us 2 free drinks vouchers to use at the bar. The breakfast was hot and had a good selection of pastries, hot food, yoghurts, fruit and breads. Quite a few people were queuing up before 7am to get in first but we always found a table. Self serve drinks too - the fresh orange juice was delicious! Yes it is a long walk to the Athens attractions but the hotel is in a quiet area and just around the corner are some excellent restaurants. On our last day, we were upgraded to the suite which was fantastic!! Huge room and the bathroom was amazing. Pillows on the bed were dreamy, WiFi was quick, room was clean, minibar had what we needed. An excellent way to finish our holiday.
