This hotel/bar is quite basic but very convenient. It is a typical German gasthaus. It is on a fairly busy road out/in to saarbrucken. It has its own parking. visable from your room. quite basic room but very clean, light and comfortable. A curtain for door on bathroom, but not the end of the world. For a quick stop off en route through Germany this place is ideal. I have read some negatives about this hotel but do not be put off. The breakfast was very good in our opinion. Again a typical german breakfast in a lovely quaint style bar. We have stayed here twice now. The couple that run it do not speak english but we get by. very nice people. helpful. If you want to stay in saarbrucken area for an overnight stop try this place. Some great little restaurants nearby. we found one 10 mins walk away by the river, The wild duck. great schnitzel!!!!!
