Gästehaus am Badepark - Ferienwohnung Rauschberg

It was very easy to find this Gastehaus which was located in the countryside at the very charming and rustic. The corner apartment we were assigned to had a great view of the German Alps. It was very clean and spacious. There was a sitting/dining room with a fully equipped kitchenette. Several towels were stacked in the bathroom and this is a clue not to expect the room to be cleaned daily as in a hotel room. Room had a flat screen TV and English channels were available. We were welcomed by Boudweyn, who usually tends bar. He spoke flawless English and was very helpful with information on Inzell. We were also provided with an Inzell card which allowed us to use certain facilities in town for free. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to use the card. The Gastehaus is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and parking is 1.30 € per day. Breakfast costs 7 € per person. There is a supermarket about 2 blocks away where one can get food and supplies. The day before we left, we had a chance to meet Robin who was very warm and friendly as well. All in all, this is a great place to stay because of the beautiful surroundings, very warm and welcoming staff and a good value for your money. We look forward to staying here again the next time we visit. This is not a negative but we mention it to temper people's expectations in this regard. Wi-fi is free but depending on how full the gastehaus is, it could be difficult to get a connection at the onset. We were eventually able to connect early in the morning. Could be they have a narrow bandwidth and many users at certain times could slow down or prevent access. There is a city tax of 2.10 € per person per day.
