Quite nice place to stay for a night. It's located near Valkeakoski city center by Apianlahti. They have cottages, tent and caravan places and rooms available. They have basic  services like shower and toilets and a little cafe that offers breakfast during summer. The location is really pretty and there is a "suspension bridge walk path"  around Apianlahti and it crosses Apianlahti canal. 
Near by is Hotel Waltikka and Kirjaslammen lava (Kirjaslampi dance hall).

A one night stayover

We stayed for two nights in a tent, a family with 6 children. There was a decent-sized playground which the kids enjoyed, a small kitchen with two stoves and a small fridge to store food in. The restaurant served fast food and the campsite had a large grill that was free to use but was missing some parts so only two people could use it at once.  The staff was fairly accommodating and friendly i.e. allowed us the usage of our own grill and stored some ice packs for us. There was also a sauna that you could rent but the access to the small beach and pier was only for those who rented the sauna! ( 180e)  (We got told to get lost by an unpleasant sauna-goer)  There was a public beach 10 minutes walk away but during our stay, the toilet facilities were not opened.   Needless to say with 6 children this was a major hassle.  It would have been better if this were stated more clearly on their website. All in all a nice place but the lack of beach access was quite disappointing.

Small camping site with a nice view and basic amenities  but you need to pay for access for the beach
