Really beautiful boutique hotel with friendly staff, excellent food and drinks. Do not forget to reserve a table in advance though!

This is a delightful hotel with an outstanding staff and fine service. The dinner was superb and served by an excellent staff. Breakfasts were very good and copious. All the food is very fresh and well prepared. .Thank you for making our stay so,enjoyable.

Just a short stay, but this hotel made a good impression: stylish, clean and very comfortable. Lots of attention to detail, and nice touches such as Lumene products in the bathroom and a voucher for a welcome drink. 

The breakfast buffet was in a league of its own: an amazing selection of fresh local produce.

The sauna was however the highlight and I would have loved to have stayed there longer than the allocated one-hour.

Splended, cosy and stylish small hotel close to everything in Jyväskylä. Excellent privatr and genuine Finnish sauna includedin the room fee is worth trying. Very thoughtful and calming decoration all over. Delightful attentative service.

Stay here every year and after a decade it is still as good as ever.

Always a pleasant visit at Yöpuu. Service is great and the breakfast was delicious. Be sure to book your sauna turn to get the most from the hotel. This time I was on business trip and the meeting room is well equipped as well.

Absolutely delightful stay in the midst of a busy work week. Everything was perfect. Yöpuu and its staff exceeds your expectations. They seem to have a unique & authentic service culture. Wonderful breakfast, excellent bedand a quiet room.

I appreciate the hospitality of the staff, the location of the hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms and the individual decoration. Breakfast is maybe the best in Finland - fresh, versatile and high quality.

Everything worked well. The location was great, in the city center. The room was pretty small but it had everything we needed for one night. For a longer stay I would get a bigger room. The hotel restaurant, Pöllövaari, was great ! Also breakfast was great. When we go to Jyväskylä again we will certainly book here again.

An absolute gem - perfect attention to detail.

Great attention to details !

Absolutely a charming little boutique hotel in the middle of Jyväskylä. Our party of four had single rooms and they were all very nice and unique - quite small however but enough big for one. Bathroom was quite spacious. There was also iron and ironing board in the room which was handy since we were on a road trip. Breakfast was excellent and service all in all excellent. We also had a very nice dinner at their restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Jyväskylä.

If I go to Jyväskylä again - I'll certainly stay in Yöpuu again

The owners who run the hotel have a good idea of what a stay should be like. The room was comfortable, clean and cool. I appreciated the air conditioning considering it was 30C outside. The lobby and living room were very nice with nice jazz music playing. The restaurant is top notch… you will spend a lot of money but it is worth it! The service (at the restaurant) was very good. After dinner we went to sleep… we slept very well. The breakfast was fabulous… lots of yummy things to eat. Hotel Yöpuu is truly a “Gem” in Jyväskylä! This boutique hotel has EVERYTHING covered. I would definitely book there again 😄

A “Gem” in Jyväskylä

Even in exceptional circumtances (COVID-19) conditions for a relaxing weekend were as they should be. Homely and welcoming athomsphere awaited as soon as you entered. Breakfast served at a table instead of a buffet brought even more little luxury. Don’t forget the charming vineyard in a sunny summer evening.

Accommodation with good food and wine

This is a really nice boutique hotel. The rooms are very cosy and welcoming and the bed sumptuous, so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. There is parking at the back of the hotel and free internet. Breakfast is included - mostly cold buffet but with omelettes and English breakfast on request (also free). The staff are charming and helpful. The elements of the design, layout, background music create a uniquely elegant atmosphere. I can highly recommend it.
