The engaged genuine staff who provided us with amazing service made this vacation memorable for us. The food was great. Italian our fav with our 5 year old. We did use the preferred restaurant for breakfast and lunch everyday. That was a really nice touch that helped us take a break and unwind. Overall restaurants were on point. Happy with food and service. Food was much better than I anticipated. A shout out to all the amazing team members that went above and beyond to us. - Hector - our butler. Man were we lucky to have this guy take care of us. What a true asset to this operation. He is a seasoned pro and so chill to work with. Thank you Hector. Lots of love from the Okane’s. - Zuzu - preferred lunch area. Man she was awesome. Such a great smile and warmth. Can’t fake that stuff. - Eddy - Italian and preferred lunch restaurant - Jael not sure I spelled it properly. Supervisor in the preferred breakfast area. - Jorge serve preferred lunch area I think. - Eddy lifeguard by waterslides. He can’t speak much English which I should be the one speaking Spanish. What a beauty he is. Thank you Eddy - incel - pool server. Another great server in the pool area. Didn’t have to ever wait for a drink and service with this guy. Such a pro and kind. - stefany preffered lunch area. My daughter loved her. Nobody ever hesitates to greet you and help you if you need anything. Staff was amazing overall. This was the biggest positive for us. The genuine professionalism by the amazing staff. Thank you to all who helped take care of us but in such a warm fashion. Water slide and lazy river were awesome. Beach on calm days hard to beat. Kids activities and entertainment was nice. Kids area everyday at 3pm was nice. Standard pools were great and always had some beats on and great vibes overall. So much to do and see daily. Kept us busy and engaged. Gym was good kept me happy in the am workouts. This review is five star for the team members that made this vacation what it was. They deserve it. The room: just ok to subpar. Everything seemed to be comprised. Lights that wouldn’t work. Ac that was never cold enough. Doors that wouldnt lock unless slammed. This place needs room checklists from lightbulbs to fans that dont knock to towel holders that fall if you touch em etc. These small details are important. To me anyways. The list goes on and on. The resort grounds are large and very well manicured. Don’t get me wrong the place is large and gorgeous and bars are everywhere which I loved. The little details are being missed in a maintenance sense and compromises seem to go unoticed. All the best. Sincerely John O
