Staff at Old Town Hostel made all the difference. They are attentive to our needs. I felt very comfortable staying here. Location is great too. The response after booking directly with them is super efficient. The system they created made us feel safe and welcome. The hostel owner is my fan.

Amazing location, staff was very nice and good vibes, volunteer Merrick was the best, very friendly and willing to help at all times. I decided to stay more nights because of him 👌🏻😃

The location is amazing! You could walk around Old town and have an amazing time!

The room that I got for myself, was awesome! It had a huge bed, and it was clean! It also had great view over Old town!

The cat Arthur is also so cute!

Only thing I could complain about is that the Wifi was relatively shoddy, went on and off a lot! But I could imagine it was because a lot of people were using it!

I had to extend my stay because I loved it. 
the hostel is very clean, cozy and the staff is very nice. Elisa and Florencia were especially helpful, they gave me tips about the city and excellent places to eat. Definitely i choose this place again. you can get to know great people. Also, I had the chance to meet Dora, the owner, she is kind and welcoming.

Great Location!

Nice , clean and good location

Good location and fantastic staff and volunteers

Pros:
- Hostel is located in the heart of the old town, only thing is good luck finding it! It’s tucked in an alley across from the Muslim centre of Split. Took us about an hour to find unfortunately but once you catch your bearings it’s easy enough
- staff was friendly 

Cons:
- no hot water, just enough for one person 5 min shower. If hostel has other guests chances are you will be showering in ice water (3 showers all were cold)
- wifi is horrible, not sure why they havent fixed this issue. Had troubles loading even Google.
- no atmosphere or lounge room (warranted its a tight space for a hostel so it’s very small and not much room)
Which means the rooms are all very close and you can hear everything in the hallways.

Great location but has some kinks

The hostel has a great location. I did not enjoy my stay and left earlier, because I did not sleep well for 2 nights. The 'Volunteer' of the hostel happend to sleep next to me and she does not follow any of the 'hostel etiquette'. For example: turning on self brought Christmas lights in the dorm in the middle of the night, waking me up. Also does repacking of her bag in the middle of the night. Spreads the room with her stuff and blocks excess to my locker. Etc, etc. According to the hostel: 'She is nothing but kind and I should book a hotel next time'. I was backpacking for 6 months in Europe and staying in hostels. I know what is normal and what is not.
