24th floor room very well furnished with lovely soft bed, desk, comfortable seating and large bathroom. Views down to the river and the new bridge. Excellent welcome - our scruffy rucksacks were treated with tenderness but looked slightly out of place in a spacious and elegant foyer. Attractive staff spoke English very well and apparently had all the time in the world to talk and help. Downstairs bar with excellent service - possibly because there was no one else in! Several restaurants: we tried the Chinese but were the only people there! Breakfast was very good with wide range of Chinese, international, and English food. Central position, easy access to posh shops in Times Square and to several markets. Pity about the weather!
