Bavaria City Hotel Beihai

I had to go to Beihai for Business and stayed at the newly opened Bavaria City Hotel. The hotel is a 30 minutes taxi ride from the airport. Should you arrive by car, there a plenty of road signs to the hotel, which makes it easy to find for those who travel by car. Generally Beihai does not offer many international Hotel Brands, except the shabby Shangri La. So, I thought myself let’s give it a try and book a room at the Bavaria. The hotel was still at soft opening when I was there, that means the Executive lounge was not ready, however, after my check out the Lounge was put into operation. I want to stay there during my next trip to Beihai. Nonetheless, the exterior of the hotel, the lobby and generally the decoration of the hotel is very beautiful. Check in was warm and quick - The Bellman introduced the in room facilities to me. I have booked a Superior King Size Room – the room was spacious with a large LCD TV. The Bed was very comfortable. Nice designed and huge bathroom with good amenities. The Hotel has 1 restaurant, which is located on the second floor. I ate there twice. The menu has a great selection of Western and Asian Dishes. The restaurant also features 2 private rooms with Tepanyaki tables. On one evening I went there and I was absolutely blown away from excellent food quality and smiling service of the chef. Should you stay at the Bavaria, try the Tepanyaki Menu with Steak & Lobster. Delicioooous ! Breakfast was great, the pastry extremely good, especially the croissants. Check out was quick. Overall this hotel has huge potential to become number one in the city soon. I definitely will return and recommend to stay at the Bavaria City Hotel in Beihai.
