Atlantic View Motel and Cottages

This motel was lovely. These units were delightful and were wonderfully decorated simply but tastefully. The kitchen was well stocked with full sized a fridge freezer which fit an entire bag of ice. The stove was a glass top and we were able to reheat a frozen pizza in the oven. You can walk to the Atlantic Ocean from the hotel though it is a shingle beach but there were lots of collectible shells and stones. We used the motel as a base. It is walking distance to Lunenburg 1.9 km

Such a great little place, we loved having the kitchen. So convenient.Comfy beds, loved the heat pump for heat and a/c. Close to Lunenburg without having to stay in town. Excellent to get out to the south shore! Highly recommend!!

Really nice room clean updated comfortable, would go back anytime

It is not walkable but Lunenburg is a short drive away. Coffee in the morning on the cabin deck and a beverage on the beach at night was relaxing. Our cabin was small but had everything we needed. Very clean and staff was welcoming and accessible.

This quaint motel has such a beautiful setting on either side. The beds were very comfortable and it was so very serene. Bathroom was compact but effective.

Lunenburg is spectacularly beautiful. The tiny house cottages were quaint and charming. Very private with easy access to a private beach. Property was clean and the staff was polite. Would recommend.

Fabulous cabin, clean, petit but really well equipped. Amazing location with own beach, bbq, fire pit. Walking distance to Lunenburg and great host .

The Atlantic View Motels & Cottages is a cozy and well taken care of accommodations. Up to date inside and close to all amenities required. A full size fridge is excellent when you're travelling and preparing your own meals. Marcus the owner is very kind and helpful. Located just 2 minutes outside of 'downtown' Lunenberg where you can visit the Bluenose II and the quaint town and just 10 minutes to Mahone Bay.

A+ accomodations

We enjoyed our motel room, two doubles, very bright and clean.  The property has been recently renovated, in keeping with the east coast vibe, lovely ocean view and nature all around. Can enjoy quiet at the motel, and convenient drive to Lunenburg for all it has to offer. The owner, Marcus, is to be commended for bringing this motel and cabins back to life!

We really enjoyed the little cottage we rented.  It was very compact and well-designed to use the space effectively.  (Of course an engineer would notice this.)  It was clean and well kept.  The location was peaceful and had a great water view and access to a rocky beach.  It was close to town, so shopping, sightseeing, and eating were readily available.  I employed a fishing guide and spent a day on a nearby lake catching smallmouth bass while my wife explored the area.  I hope to return here in the future.

A fabulous location , but you really need a car!Marcus the owner kindly drove us into Lunenburg and we were able to get a taxi back with Bobby who is the main very friendly taxi driver.The motel room is very modern and comfortable, and with a lake at the back and the sea at the front it is a really idyllic place to stay.

Fabulous quiet location.

This little hotel is an absolute gem! We were pleasantly surprised to find a great Scandinavian decor room with an unbelievable waterfront view out a large back picture window.  The new air conditioning unit was whisper quite and comfortable during a blazing heat wave.  Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.  The hotel is situated an an area of fabulous natural beauty with trails, which was wonderfully quite and peaceful yet convenient to Lunenburg. The drive or walk into Lunenburg along the bay affords a spectacular view of the harbour.

My 4 nite stay was in a single queen cottage. It had full ammenties, kitchenette with small appliances/kitchen wear, sink etc. There’s a cute little porch with adirondack style bench seat, as well a BBQ with shared picnic table area. Although not used during my stay, there was a communal firepit surrounded by adirondack seating. The shower was quite small, but adequate. I would definitely recommend and would stay again👍

This was the cutest little cottage room! We spent 2 nights here while visiting Lunenburg.  The cottage was newly updated and clean, complete with tv, microwave, bar fridge, dishes/cutlery, and table & chairs. It’s a bit removed from the town which is great for relaxing, but to visit town you need to drive.The only drawback is that the shower stall is very small, but that is totally expected for a tiny cottage room like this.We had a front porch and there is a shared fire pit area.The owner is friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend this charming spot.

Cutest little cottage near the water

This adorable little property is very nice. We were greeted by staff, checked in easily.  The room was clean, the WIFI adequate for our needs, and amazingly, we had a small microwave, fridge and even a small dining table.  Bathroom and showers were good.  We didn’t try the TV.  A nice porch to sit outside on and enjoy the ambiance.  We will stay here again.

Excellent location, across street from a beach and a pretty Lily pond behind. Stayed in one of the motel rooms.  Nice decor, looks newly done. Very comfortable space. Fresh ground coffee provided for a 4 cup coffee maker versus the horrid pods, a really nice appreciated touch. Picnic tables and benches outside for sitting. Great proximity to Lunenburg Old Town and coming and going to visit the area.
