What an amazing property. This little island (about 1 acre in size) is absolutely beautiful. The boat ride from Placencia was definitely farther than a 10 minutes....more like a 40-45 minute trip as the island is approx 20 miles in the middle of the ocean. The staff is one of a kind.....Tito and Albert were our bartenders. Tito was there our entire trip (6 days); Albert arrived the day before we left. Anything we wanted these guys were on it. Food, drinks, someone to talk to, etc. We had 2 amazingly chefs, Sam and Hilly, cooked some of the best food we've had on an all inclusive vacation in a LONG time. Truly amazing food. The manager and the rest of the crew stayed busy ensuring the island stayed clean and well maintained each amd every day. A great place for some serious R & R. Highly recommend King Lewey Island to anyone who is up for the adventure.
