Brisa Oceano Resort

When we arrived to Brisa we were escorted to our room by staff and given a quick tour of the room. We quickly noticed that we did not have a pull out couch (we booked the 2 bedroom with 3 beds beach access) and when one of my guests went to inform staff and initially received an attitude that we “did not rent the cot as we were supposed to”. I then had to go and speak with staff myself which I believe I spoke with a manager who was then quick to remedy the situation as we did indeed book 3 beds, not a cot. They went and swapped out the couch with another room that did have the pull out bed which was appreciated. We also inquired about our VIP welcome cocktails, which staff went to go get more supplies to make those for us. Beach was ten steps away from our room and several steps away from “the boardwalk” which leads through the town with shops and other hotels and restaurants. Room stayed cold, size of rooms were great, technically 2 balconies with our room. This easy access also allows almost anyone to walk through or on the property, so just something to be aware of. We were aware the Sargassum was an issue, but we were upset about the lack of trying to clean up at least the garbage stuck within the sargassum on the beach, it was really dirty, we’ve posted pictures. We were unable to swim far enough out to have clear water. Towards the right of the property in the corner of the beach seemed to be better.
