Haus Tanja

I have booked the guesthouse through Otztal.com Very inconvenient that you have to transfer downpayment via Swift. It cost a fortune (commission at least from Russia). I was asked to transfer 138 Eur and I paid 24 as commission! Moreover I was booking 2 days before arrival. Don’t see any reason for down payment transfer. Or at least they could block or charge my credit card. It would be much cheaper for me. As proc: - 2 min from lift station, Spar and located on main street; - ski room; - warm/ comfortable temperature in living room - renovated; - floor is carpeted (not so noisy) - good breakfast (if you are first) - single room was available 3 days before New Year! As Cons: - single room is much closer vs indicated 15 m2; guess hardly 10 m2; - very small bed; - small breakfast room which is not able to accommodate all guests if you are in the same time; - not enough food for breakfast (you have to ask eggs, boiled water; milk; yogurt). - no Rus channel; not big deal but if it is New Year eve it would be great to have; - no fridge in single room; the fridge on ground floor was closed from afternoon 😱 - no tea maker. It would be great to have boiler in breakfast room (at least); If you are capricious and look for travel in advance you should not book this guesthouse! However I was lucky to be accommodated in shortest occasion and had wonderful days at Haus Tanja and celebrated fantastic New Year in Solden! Danke!
