Great simple place to stay and see the fantastic Temora Aviation Museum.

Being well away from CBD meant that traffic and light was not a problem.Everything needed was supplied and the facilities ideal for family gatherings.

It was in a nice, quiet area, clean, plenty of parking. Great place.

We loved our stay at Sky Lodge! Beautiful sunset over the airfield in the evening. The next day we visited the air museum! It was such a nice experience and so beautiful planes and people. Would really recommend a visit!

Everything was great and the staff are very helpful. The bonus is being so close to the museum!

Entry to the room was straightforward by means of a key box number SMS message on the day of arrival.  There is a central area surrounded by four rooms each with an ensuite bathroom.  Kitchen, fridge and kettle etc are in the central area.  All is in excellent condition.  Bedrooms are comfortable with TV etc.

we had two nights, which allowed a whole day to spend at the museum. Best accommodation of our trip.

The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well presented, and the bed was comfortable. I found the property to be super quite as it is well of the road. Lighting / illumination at the front door of each of the complexes could have been better. The central shares area and kitchen was clean and tidy. The biggest downfall was in each door of the four bedrooms that came of the central shared area there was a vent in the lower part of the door. This meant that in the dead quite of the night we could hear voices, TV and movement from the room adjacent to ours.

The SkyLodge offers very affordable and conveniently located accomodation for anybody travelling in the area. We have now used it twice on our way to Griffith and love the location at the Aviation Museum. It's very quite and out of town, but close enough if you want to grab a bite to eat in one of the eateries in Temora.

What a little gem.  If you want to go the the aviation museum (who wouldn’t?) why not stay there?  It’s a little way out of town which I guess is a small negative and some people might not fancy sharing the kitchen area with other people, but neither point bothered us.  It’s new, clean and includes toast/cereal for brekkie.  Really nice.

Spitfire Stay!

Interesting and unusual accommodation set-up with 4 bedroom suites opening into a common lounge and kitchen area within each building.We were the only guests there so had the run of the whole place!Would be perfect for large families or a group if friends travelling together.Place is nicely appointed and very comfortable.

Interesting accommodation style

While the property is located out of town next to airport, the accommodation facilities are comfortable & well maintained, secure & local area is usually quiet. Contact with the Representative to gain building access details is via phone - as no Representative is located on-site. Bathroom would benefit from providing a hand towel rail. Kitchen & cooking facilities are well provided for. Complimentary continental breakfast appreciated.

Unusual arrangement with 4 rooms anout a central kitchen and dining space

A great location for visiting pilots. However there is currently no taxi service in Temora and very poor Uber service.The Ex-Services Club courtesy coach does not run every night.Visiting pilots with no road transport have no way to get to town for meals on most nights.
