We had a lovely, spontaneous trip to Maleny and found this gem on the internet at the last minute. It was a fabulous experience. The room was beautifully furnished with an amazing view to the ocean. David was an awesome host, greeting us with a welcome drink, and providing us with an spectacular breakfast the next morning. I am still talking about the breakfast to my friends! The gardens are rustic (not manicured) and the parking is tight, but overall our experience was fantastic. I would definitely return.

We stayed at Highwood for 8 nights. We were made very welcome by the host, David and  our accommodation was comfortable and luxurious. David went out of his way to make our stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Many thanks.

Beautiful, cosy accommodation. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Lovingly decorated with old world charm. Beautiful views all around and lots of  plants. A lovely warm welcome by the host and delightful dog. Breakfast was delicious and very substantial. Large range of books, DVDs and Netflix etc to choose from. 

Had a wonderful 2 night stay.  As others have said David is a marvellous host and looked after us so well.  The accommodation is unique and so comfortable.  Breakfast too was a delight.
A few minutes away from Malony we thought the location was stunning with magnificent views.  Only thing you may want to arrive before it gets dark but don’t let this put you off.
Thoroughly recommended for a relaxing break.

Our stay was an experience, from the welcome to the end our weekend.  David's thoughtfulness, ability to anticipate, talent and professionalism would have to be the best example of customer service I have ever experienced.  The rooms are exquisitely decorated, and the welcome drinks, gourmet breakfasts make you feel honoured.  My mum was so impressed, and when she was given a tea,  she felt like the Queen.  With the spectacular views over the coastline and hills, @highwood Park Guest Lodge is brilliant for anniversaries, weekend getaways,  a base for weddings on the hinterland or any excuse if you just need some excellent hospitality.  

We booked in to stay here the day after our wedding.  What an absolutely beautiful and impressive location with incredible views looking back towards Maleny to the west and to the ocean in the east.  David the owner is an absolute legend, being extremely friendly and welcoming - the perfect host and gentleman.  He has decorated the place to make it feel like something out of a story.  The whole place feels so warm and welcoming!  Not to mention the huge Emperor sized bed we stayed in!  Perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the amazing hospitality!

Gorgeous views for miles and outstanding breakfasts were just some of the highlights of our stay.  The hosts were really lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay

What a fabulous place to stay and your host David cannot do enough for you by welcoming you with a glass of champagne and then giving you a tour of the facilities.
The property views are spectacular and so are the rooms with special attention to every detail even down to a Port Night Cap.
Breakfast is one of the major highlights of the stay which is cooked and presented to perfection.
A place that we will always recommending to our friends and will certainly be back to stay in the not too distant future.

This was exceptional in every way. The BNB service from  David started with chilled refreshing bubbles on arrival and bubbly personalities.🥂 First class venue, gorgeously decorated , stunning views of coast and hinterland,  country charm and amazing Milky Way display at night. 🌟
 David is a qualified chef and he served us a most beautiful  breakfast. Great location for day tripping. We had a game of tennis, a quick dip in the pool and a star gazing stroll at night. Even the water tasted so good.
From our day tripping, we noticed lots of accommodation to choose from in the area but we can  highly recommend Highwoodpark Guest Lodge.  😀🌈🦋

A beautiful property, off the beaten track, A 15 minute drive to Malney.
The road is a little steep.and narrow.
Our room was lovely, with coffee making facilities, little chocolates and biscuits.
The hosts are lovely and love what they do. The best breakfast we have had in any BnB.
So comfy huge bed.

If i could give this review 10 stars I would. First class hospitality .Champagne upon arrival  We felt very spoiled  and very welome . Nothing as too muh trouble for David the Host , we even got udles with his lovely dog. We stayed in "Balmoral"  .Amazing KING Size  Room with Spetaculr Views, beautiful / quirky antiques. 
Maleny is only 7 min drive. David cooked us a banquet fit for a king for Breakfast. 
we will difinately go back.

This was our second stay at Highwood Park, and we love it! It is the perfect location for a complete breakaway. Gorgeous suites, they are HUGE, and beautifully decorated. The views are amazing, and David cannot do enough for you to to make your stay special, and is a fantastic host. Highwood park is thoroughly unique experience, you feel like you are worlds away - but you are so close to everything you could need. It is also extremely good value, and cannot recommend it highly enough.
