Shepley South Beach Hotel

The Shepley Hotel is perfectly located within all the action and beach. The room, 1 of 2 suites, was a great size. The air conditioner goes as low as 61, (some hotels have fixed air at 70). The air conditioner is slightly loud, but I found it to be perfect as I sleep with a fan or tv at night. The free breakfast is adequate with yogurt, waffles and syrup, toast and jellies, mini boxed cereals, pastries, they were yummy!! OJ, iced tea, coffee cappuccino, and also apples and bananas. Gus at the front desk was super kind and with great suggestions on restaurants or pubs is that's your thing. I took advantage of happy hour as drinks were BOGO. VS 18.00 normally. I liv3 in Michigan normally a mix drink is $4. The entire hotel including the rooms smell like lemon. There is No elevator. If you have difficulties then this would not be the place for you. If you have a car, there is a public garage right across the street! You can vape or smoke on the beautiful inviting porch they have. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who does not have a mobility issue and would definitely come back on a heartbeat. A walgreens is less than a full block away if you are looking for water, or shampoo and conditioner like me! The Shepley offers beautiful hair products for you but they are in pump form, and I have long hair so it was just easier to buy my own as I have to use a lot.
