Great value for money in a quiet, pretty village. A perfect short stop to explore the south downs and coast. I would stay again if i return to the area.

A beautiful, cosy, clean room. Had everything you need and check in and out was very easy. Parking just outside the room too. .

Perfect for a quick stop over.  The room does not have a fridge and is quite small with low door and ceilings, but this wasn't a problem for us.

Was peaceful and just easy.Clean and modern.. Loved it.

Clean, tidy, quiet (but a little compact) in a small village. Fine for two night stay. Could not get wifi to work.

Quirky little room. Good information pack. Great bathroom and comfy beds. Bedlinen and towels were immaculate but floor didn't seem to have been hoovered - furniture certainly hadn't been moved as there was an empty sweet packet down the back of the sofa. We used the cotton throw from bed to cover sofa as it had a rip in the cushion which didn't look great. Nice touch to provide a fan as well as a heater in the room as it was very warm when we were there. Parking was tight for a larger car but manageable. Good base to get out and about onto main transport routes nearby.

Great little room. Comfy bed. AC would've been nice but it did have a ceiling fan. There should have been instructions on using the entrance lock given that these kind of locks are not universal around the world. Also we had to search for the switch that would turn on the hot water. Having it labelled would have been nice.

Lovely quaint little room.

The property was ideally situated for our needs. The bedroom was quite small but the bathroom spacious. The light above the bed wasn’t working. We reported this on arrival but it wasn’t rectified in spite of an assurance that it would be. No-one came to make up the room or refill the tea/coffee after the first night. We couldn’t get onto the WiFi at all. We also had problems with the heating, which came on for only short periods and couldn’t be adjusted. Could be a very nice place to stay if these things were rectified.

Good value but poor service.

What a cute room, everything you could possibly need.Brilliant shower.Being winter and almost -12 degrees outside, we found the room very cold on arrival. It would be great if the room could be warm on arrival, but 100% understand fuel costs are expensive and this option may not be viable.Sadly the tv remote batteries were flat which made navigating the TV a bit difficult.  There was also no Tea bags in the room (only coffee).Other than that, we loved our stay!! It was inexpensive, but comfortable and we will use Findon Rest again.Thank you to the proprietors and to the kind lady who cleaned the room.

Excellent value for money!

The room was clean and well equipped. The fridge and microwave were a welcome change from the usual hotel type set up. Bed was super comfortable, room was cool and quiet enough with the window open.Easy check in with the lock box.I expect the low ceilings may be a nuisance if you're particularly tall.

Straightforward comfortable room

This property worked perfectly for my short term need.In fact it worked well enough that I looked no further than another one of the landlords rooms nearby when I had to extend my stay.

had trouble getting internetand maybe somewhere to hang clothesbut thats not end of the world would certainly stay there againnice little place and great local pub
