Lovely stay at Glenview, I was well looked after by Morveg and the team.  I arrived off the boat from Mull early and they were very accommodating letting me arrive a little earlier. The breakfast was lovely and room was very comfortable. Great value for money. Thanks again!

I come to Oban each year to ‘escape to the Highlands’. I always stay at Glen view as Morwan is so kind and accommodating. 
The rooms are comfortable, especially the bed and the breakfast is always hot and cooked to order. 
It’s only a ten minute walk to the ferry port and station, and five minutes to the car hire place so the location is ideal.
I always book well in advance, especially for longer periods as I always prefer a single room en-suite.
I would always stay at Glenview and hope to again next year.
I always visit Mull, Iona and Glencoe so stay at Glenview as I can do everything from there.

After 36h. we got to the guesthouse at 11pm. and got a warm welcome.
Only staying for the night before we would travel on to the Isles.
Had the same welcome on our way back, again just one night but we felt very welcome and did enjoy our stay.

What can I say that tops how fantastic the service here was.
The owners were amazingly helpful, the service excellent and the room was clean, tidy and very comfortable.
I was in Oban to stay prior to travelling to Mull for a competition and the restful night here was a major help.
I was able to leave my car, at the suggestion of the owner, in their car park for the duration of my trip (08:00-18:00) which meant I knew it was secure. 
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Yes there maybe more modern, and nearer to town places to stay but this is a traditional, well run, friendly and homely guesthouse run by the lovely and welcoming Movern for many a year, and it shows. I booked the last room well in advance and got a large twin room all to myself! Having stayed in Inverness, for the Gathering Festival , for £5 more per night, for a very small single room this was luxury compared! Yes there is a shared bathroom, with other rooms being n corridor but was never unable to go in, and always clean. Plus there is a sink and toiletries in the room. Room one on ground floor at the back very quiet. Breakfasts each morning very good, pleasant to chat to other guests, many at Oban Live too. I have booked for three nights next year for Oban Live. Thank Movern, sorry I left a loaf of bread and some jam in the wardrobe!! 

A warm welcome greets all visitors. Our room had a large double bed, wardrobe, tv, sink and chair. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with chocolate biscuits. 
En-suite shower room with loo was small but very adequate. 
There is a guest lounge downstairs with two settees, board games and a tv.
Lots of choice at breakfast and large portions. 
The house was lovely and warm.
It is traditionally decorated.


Very well positioned for Oban, very clean and lovely breakfast..and the owner was very pleasant and helpful, close to all local amenities.. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to to stay here and highly recommended bed and breakfast accommodation

Great place to end our motorcycle tour of Scotland, secure parking, rooms basic but beds really comfortable. Bathrooms are on suite but small. Lady running the place was very helpful and not phased at all by two bikers turning up after a long day on the road. Breakfast was good and kept us going home.

Pleasant, simple, and nicely appointed rooms. Bathrooms are small, but how much time does one need in the bathroom? Host was very pleasant and helpful. Beds are comfortable and room was quiet. A lounge and a dining b room is provided downstairs. Full breakfast, cooked to order. About a 15 minute walk to the port. Private parking provided.

Spent 2 nights here and host is very warm and friendly. Our room was bright, quite spacious and spotless. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were great.

Great to be able to park at rear if property. 
 
Guest house is about a 10 minute walk to the railway station and ferry terminal. 

Would stay again if in the area.

Pleasant and economical guesthouse.

Warm and friendly

Our host and hostess offered us superb Scottish hospitality with their welcoming friendly and helpful manner. We rested in our clean room and comfortable bed after a long scenic drive from Fort William. It had easy parking and convenient location. We walked to the View in Oban for a Ceilidh Night (Scottish music and folk dancing). It was a fantastic evening for my granddaughter and me. An excellent, delicious, healthy breakfast was served and included in the price which was very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb Scottish Hospitality

We were warmly welcomed and had a good breakfast. The rooms were small and the loo and shower were, pretty well, in a cupboard.

One night was fine and all we needed ... but I could not have stayed any longer as I jut felt a bit uncomfortable. The worst part was the smell. Most likely plug in air fresheners but it was awful and almost made us feel ill.
