Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Air conditioning very much appreciated and the curtains made the room very dark. Lovely breakfast including vegan options. Staff very friendly.

We loved our one night stay here.  I was worried because I didn’t realize there was no lift on the property, but the staff was very helpful in getting us to our room.

We had a great stay at Premier Inn Dalkeith! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Having 2 children that's definitely what we need. The team here are so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was a hit! Help yourself to continental and the cooked breakfast is cooked fresh from the kitchen. Absolutely perfect for us. We will be back! Thank you so much to Angie and the team for a great stay.

Travelled from Troon to Dalkeith and didn’t arrived until gone 6.00pm, and quite tired. Our Premier Plus room was on the second floor and no lift. However Aiden who was on reception helped us with our case as we don’t travel light when away. Thank you Aiden. Our room was well equipped, spacious and airey. We had paid for breakfast and Angie was over the car park in the Esk.
Not a buffet but cooked to order, and very good. Stayed for 2 nights. On booking out Angie was on reception. It appeared she was the manager, and the way she worked I can understand why.  Lovely stay, thank you Angie and the team.

The place is close to my friend, also got a relatively good price as well. You need to have a car to get around as there is no bus stop nearby. The room was comfortable, cosy. The doors were a bit noisy when people shut them. The facilities are good, tea and coffees.

Very nice clean hotel. Well worth the money. Rooms are very well presented and modern. I would recommend. Very easy accessible with plenty of parking. Very secure once your in. 
Shower is very powerful with lovely Baylis and Harding lavender shower gel which smells fab. I have actually bought myself some from boots.

Our room was very spacious the were  comfy beds,the  rooms were clean as was the communal areas,
All staff were Friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was very nice and my ceolaic daughter was able to enjoy ,toast, bacon and egg with confidence  as the staff were knowledgeable. This was a HUGE positive for us  -Thank you.

Stayed in a Premier Room with good facilities and very pleasant  helpful staff and as always at Premier Inn a really great breakfast.  Lots of available parking not much road noise and easy access to the next door facilities for breakfast, dinner & bar.

Premier Inn hotel was lovely and the staff were too, however Table Table next door are terrible with rude staff that could not care you need to eat due to a medical condition and tell you to take it up with Premier Inn.

Great stay at premier inn Dalkeith.  Staff really friendly but no over imposing. We used as a base to visit family so out most of day but room was quiet, warm clean and great showers.

Stayed for a couple of nights for business. Room clean, breakfast and service was fab. WiFi connection was poor however staff helped us to connect in another area. Customer service from the wonderful Leigh was outstanding. Friendly and very helpful with additional wee touches for myself and my colleague to make our stay the best.

A lovely 2 night stay.

This hotel was so far from the train station. There was a lot of construction going on, and maybe if this had not happened, we could have had a better chance of taking the bus to the city. There are no restaurants close by.

Nothing the two day was a total disaster from the time we when for the evening meal on the Friday to the breakfast on the Sunday. We will start with the check-in which was good then we went for hour evening meal which costs £10.99 each the chicken was not very hot and the pasta was about £3 worth the waiter was run off his feet. Saturday morning breakfast one waiter on his own not a good idea.    Sunday morning breakfast one young lady on her own no bread no plates no hot water. The breakfast itself was not cooked properly the ashbrouns inedible pork sausages not cooked a lot of trouble in the restaurant. Breakfast was £10.99 each the chef has no idea what he or she was doing. More staff needed as soon as possible.

Gave this hotel a second try as we had an appointment in Edinburgh and it’s quick to get in to the city it’s easy to find, cheap, lots of parking, fast friendly check in, clean room,quiet hotel- down side - the window in the room was open when we arrived and the room was freezing and the heating didn’t seem to heat up fast enough not sure it even worked, breakfast wasn’t the normal standard, I wasn’t offered tea or coffee as the machine was behind the bar, I was given instant coffee warm water from a flask, no cutlery on the table, again the room was freezing, poor selection of continental foods, but the cooked breakfast was very very good , when we got back to the room the room had a smell of damp and the towels had a damp smell that prophet out window was wide open hen we arrived . Think the next time I will travel the extra ten minutes and go to Musselburgh

No sure what to make of this place usually Premier Inns have a standard and why I usually book them 
Not here !
Guy at check in couldn’t be bothered when I arrived no mention breakfast times or anything 
He mumbled that the restaurant opened at 6pm
Room was ok if tired a bit but clean enough with smallest TV I’ve ever seen in a hotel 
The meal selection is as much reduced menu and again same guy that was at reception delivered my soggy fish and chips 
No draught beers or draft coke etc 
The place was soul less
After delivering the good no peas or salads as garnish he retired to behind the bar to carry on his phone 
Breakfast was equally as poor bacon undercooked and hash brown soggy 
No coffee machine available only flasks hot water 
Check out no one asked about stay 
Premier either get a grip of this place or close it
