Thank you so very much to all the staff in Kildonan Lodge who helped make this trip feel so much easier and special (and replied courteously and patiently to each email sent 🙈) for my family. Before arriving, I raked through each and every hotel/bed & breakfast in Edinburgh to find somewhere that fit the vibe I wanted for this trip, and I can say hands down this met all expectations. A beautiful lodge, with gorgeous interior and exterior. Warmness spilling from the inside out, we couldn’t have asked for more honestly. The lounge was the perfect spot to sit down in the morning and wait for the rest of your party to arrive, the breakfast room was gorgeous and the breakfast was so yummy - thank you to breakfast staff especially as I know most of my group made little tweaks with their menus!! (The lounge also has a little mini bar that you can purchase snacks/drinks from which is a really lovely touch) This was a special family trip, and there is something so lovely about arriving somewhere and the staff knowing exactly who you are and why you are there. I sincerely appreciated the special touches left in my mom’s room and the congratulations she received upon arrival. Thank you is not enough, if I never get to make a return I can definitely say those who were in our group will be returning.
