Everyone was so cheerful and welcoming !! The room fresh and clean with a lovely spacious shower and decent sized fluffy towels 😀

Great little stay. Tasteful bright room with really good amenities. We arrived too late on Sunday night for  eating in the pub but had had a great take out from Thai restaurant in nearby Christchurch. Dog enjoyed stay too!

Marvelous hospitality! Neil and Lizzie made us feel at home, and even invited us to join their family/staff party on Christmas night!

A lovely place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The landlady who checked us in greeted us in a warm and friendly manner.

Excellent stay as usual. Food good quantity and reasonably priced.Staff very helpful and welcoming, in particular Kiera.

The room was specious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size with a good sized shower.There were tea and coffee making facilities.Also bottled water was provided.The food in the restaurant was delicious.

Hotel room was lovely, bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. Scenery is beautiful too

We stayed here as we were attending a family wedding locally. They couldn't have been more helpful, especially as they let us have early access to our room to change clothes for the wedding. Very clean and tidy and perfect size room. Loved the shower, very invigorating and got us ready to face the day. We had a sandwich before attending the wedding to keep us going, they had the wow factor. I could only eat one half as they contained so much filling.

business trip, 1 night stay. The hotel is not operating to its full summer  potential. The kitchen shuts at 20:00, meaning,  not good for me getting there at 19:40. Staff were fantastic but again no breakfast offered, i am  guessing  it must be because its not summer. Probably if i were staying in the area again i would choose a hotel with more facilities

We stayed at the Fisherman’s Haunt for a night while on a family visit. Check in was easy and staff were welcoming. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant which was decent. Not the largest selection of food however what we did receive was superb and the beer selection does well for a night away. Overall would recommend to anyone in the area

Wedding evening sleep over.

My husband and I stayed at the Fisherman's Haunt for 2 nights whilst visiting our son at university in Bournemouth.  It was a lovely experience.  The staff were so welcoming and friendly.  The room was very cosy, comfortable and decorated beautifully.  We really were very impressed.  We ate in the restaurant on our first evening and the food was very nice - good portions and cooked well.  Breakfast in the morning was relaxed and again, the food was cooked well.  I would definitely recommend and if I were to return to the area, I would stay again.  Great value for the money.

A lovely Experience at The Fisherman's Haunt

The wife and I have just stayed at this accommodation for the last 3 days. The room we stayed in was number 10 ( Professor), it was very nice. The owner and staff were very nice and the breakfasts were very good and very substantial. It is a very nice place to stay and would recommend a visit if in the area of Winkton, Dorset.

Fishermans Haunt.

I popped in today for lunch with wife and mother for lunch having not been for sometime and hearing that there were new people on the block. We were greeted by a South African chap who by all intents seemed to be running the show and what a good job he did. My mother, all 91 years was very impressed with his manner and the fact that he actually had time to talk. The menu was a little basic and  she missed the fished fillet going for scampi, wife had the pie and I had the stew. All passed the test  and I was pleased with the stew although expected the venison gravy to be a little richer. The ladies went for the local ice cream for deserts and coffees to follow. Wine NZ Sauvignon blanc got a VG and I went for the London Pride that was excellent, crystal clear and perfect temp. The cost was very reasonable. Whole experience good enough to want to go back and I can assure you at 91 if she says that it must be pretty good👍🏻

A perfect luncheon

The great historic atmosphere. Staff went out of their way to accommodate my husband's diet! and English breakfast had everything I had hoped for. The suite we stayed in overnight was a lovely surprise; the bed, linens, shower room. And parking right outside. Thank you. We will make this our hotel of choice when we visit family in Christchurch every six months.

We've just enjoyed a six night stay in a room in The Coachhouse at the lovely Fisherman's Haunt Hotel. Neil, Marco and brilliant team did everything they could to make it enjoyable and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly. Amanda is an absolute star, who made sure we had all we needed at breakfast. 

All the food was very tasty and the roast was huge! We would certainly return and highly recommend a stay.

A Pleasant and Relaxing Stay 

I can't thank you high enough for making my mum's stay so special and magical, all the management and staff were lovely, very helpful, and went above and beyond for the whole stay. Food, accommodation and atmosphere waa all top class too, and my mum's dog who loved the dog tears waiting for her in the room, loved it too. I can't rate the people and place high enough. Thank you.

Family and friends recently stayed here for our sons wedding at a nearby venue. We started celebrations with a meal on the evening before the wedding for 20 guests. The staff were brilliant and food was served hot and they had taken note of each person order, as we had pre ordered. They made accommodation for the hair and makeup artist on the morning of the wedding. Breakfast on each morning was excellent, good produce and cooked perfectly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I will say that we did have a few hiccups when making the booking for so many people but it worked out in the end.
All the staff made our stay memorable, they were friendly and showed they really wanted to make our stay to be enjoyable. I would recommend staying here to anyone. FIRST CLASS IN EVERY WAY, THANK YOU.
