We stayed at the black dog whilst diving in Portland. It was a lovely setting a quintessential English pub in a little village. The rooms were 1st class abundance of toiletries and biscuits and hot chocolates in the refreshments always sets the tone! Bed was extremely comfortable fresh pressed sheets. We had a three course meal which was superb and their was a live singer in the back garden when we stayed which we enjoyed in the sun, which shut off at 9pm which was a nice time to retreat to our room for the next days dive. They gave a children playground in the garden so would be fantastic to bring the kids back. Extremely clean and a fantastically friendly team. Donna at breakfast was delightful. Thank you for an awesome stay we will be back ❤️
