Our second visit to the Castle Inn for a Sunday Roast. We turned up without booking and was kindly offered a table in the restaurant if we chose to wait a little while for an available table as it was very busy. We waited as we knew from our previous visit that the food here was amazing, and we were not disappointed! We both opted for a light avacado and prawns for a starter and a turkey dinner and a beef roast dinner for our mains, all of which were superb, cooked to perfection and so delicious. The portion sizes were good too. The pub has a family friendly atmosphere and the landlord and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, with great table service. I Would thoroughly recommend this lovely place and we will definitely be going back in the near future.
