We booked two rooms to stay for 3 nights as we went to the Silverstone F1 British Grand Prix. Such a lovely place and a gentle walk from Banbury train station where our direct buses to Silverstone also departed from. Our rooms were lovely and breakfast was great. Such a lovely setting is Banbury to walk around and with many places for a coffee/to eat/pubs. Thanks very much to owner Michelle who was so welcoming. 🌸

This is the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in! Everything was perfect. The room was great value and stunning. The bed was glorious and cosy. Everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The owner was friendly and lovely to talk to. The surroundings are quiet but still within walking distance of Banbury. I will definitely stay here again!

A lovely quiet place to spend the night. Im a very convenient location, only a few minutes walk into Banbury town centre. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was great and all is very clean and tidy . Friendly, welcoming host. Would definitely recommend.

The Banbury Cross B&B puts a number of hotel chains to shame, from being greeted by the host through to the facilities and breakfast. Great place to stay, slept like a log and was fully refreshed for the drive down to Kidlington for work. Highly recommend this B&B.

Nice quiet stay, friendly host and lovely hot breakfast

Warm, immaculately clean, and cheapest available. Not v comfortable single bed and I had to share a loo, but I guess these points were reflected in the price.

Fantastic place and very welcoming. Lovely location with town in walking distance. Michelle and Paul were amazing hosts, rooms are to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very tasty. Would highly recommend this to anyone and we will definitely be back in the future.

Very clean establishment with lovely private garden which guests can use.  The breakfast was very generous and a wide range of choices.  Good central location in Banbury, with easy walking to rail station.  I stayed in a single rom without ensuite, which was a good sized room.  Only minor niggle was that the mattress probably needs replacing.

Lovely B+B

The perfect place to stay 

The place was spotless and very decorated. The room was large and comfortable. The beds were great and breakfast was well cooked. We got a friendly welcome and a warm goodbye. The location was excellent  very close to the main high street. Even so close we were facing the road, had our windows open all night but still slept like a log. We are definitely going to book again.

A gem in Banbury.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Banbury Cross B&B.   My room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom spotless.  Tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water were supplied.
Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection to chose from including fruit, cereals, toast, jams etc as well as a choice of cooked breakfasts.
We were able to sit on the patio at the end of the day to relax before walking into Banbury for dinner where there is a good choice of places to eat.
I would definitely recommend staying at the Banbury Cross B&B and would not hesitate going back again.

Catch-up with friends

We were extremely pleased with our rooms (we booked three rooms).  They were very clean and comprehensively equipped, i.e. spacious with WiFi, TV, Tea/Coffee, biscuits and bottled water.  The breakfast menu was comprehensive, the portions generous and the quality good. Michelle our host was very friendly and welcoming.  Parking was plentiful and the B&B was sufficiently near the town centre to enable us to walk to restaurants for our evening meals.  We were lucky with the weather which enabled us to sit on the patio in the garden for drinks before we ventured out in the evening. We particularly enjoyed our evening meal at the La Foglia Italian Restaurant.

A Weekend Away with Friends

Recently stayed at the BnB and it was one of the best I´ve stayed in for a long time. Couldn´t fault it.
Eventhough it was a bed and breakfast we had our own on suite , with T.V. and really nice biscuits with the tea and coffee in the room.
A lovely garden out back where you could consume your own food.
The landlady was very welcoming and accommadating but the best part was the breakfast very complete and well cooked.

A gem in Banbury

Just spent 2 nights at this delightful Bed & Breakfast. There’s ample free parking on site. Rooms have everything you need and are spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are cooked to order and there’s a great choice. They were delicious. The property is brilliantly situated for easy access to the shops and restaurants (and it really is only a 5 minute walk to them).
Would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B and Alfie the dog is adorable. Thanks for a lovely stay

Banbury bliss

Just left after a lovely stay. The B&B is located ideally just a 5 mins walk away from town centre. The B&B is gorgeous and garden is very picturesque.

Room was very comfortable, clean and perfect for my needs. The shower was very good; hot & powerful.

Michelle was very engaging and pleasant. The breakfast was to die for and definitely add that to your booking. 

Highly recommended.

Weekend Visit

We normally stay in hotels as opposed to B&B's but after staying here we'll definitely be looking for B&B's similar to this. The place is very stylish. Looks like the whole place has been freshly painted. Very clean and well decorated to a very high standard. The furniture in the room was mostly handmade by the owner in a style in-keeping with the style and age of the property. He's clearly a very talented craftsmen. Breakfast was very nice and we were made to feel very welcome. There's also the added bonus of off-street parking outside the house.Not sure we'll be in Banbury again but we do go back we won't look any further than here.
