4 wet cyclists turned up on their way down from John O'Groats. The hosts couldn't have been more help sorting our wet gear, as we stood dripping after 90 miles they just said go and shower, get warm and we can sort everything else out when you are ready. 
Rooms were well catered, showers fabulous and powerful. You need that went cold and wet !
In the morning we decided out of the 14 nights this was the best breakfast and the "fishy on a dishy" was just perfection

We arrived early, check-in is officially 3pm but we showed up just before 1 as we wanted to drop the car off. We were welcomed by Doreen who advised us that the room was actually ready and we were welcome to go up and put our stuff in. The room was clean, spacious and had some really nice extra little touches. There was adequate tea & coffee making facilities with the addition of hot chocolate and a tub of biscuits to help ourselves to! There was also some shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom which was great as we hadn't packed either by mistake! A really nice touch for me personally was that there were make-up wipes which was excellent because I'd also forgotten those!! A freeview TV, free wifi and hairdryer were also provided. Now, let's get on to breakfast... delicious!! There was a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices and cereals to begin with followed by a beautifully cooked full English! There were other cooked options available if you didn't want the full English. Doreen advised us that they get their eggs from the neighbour's hens, they couldn't have been more fresh and were perfectly cooked! Phil popped in this morning to check breakfast was okay as well! They couldn't have been nicer hosts, anything we needed wouldn't have been a bother to them at all. Would definitely stay again!! 

Just a short drive away from Alnwick town centre (about 5 min).On a quiet housing estate.We were greeted by Doreen,a very polite and friendly lady who showed us to our room.We were asked what time we would like breakfast  (i don't think anytime would have been a problem) we asked for 8:30.We had a good nights sleep in a spotlessly clean room with en suite.Breakfast was amazing!! a full english and or cereal toast juice tea coffee fruit and yoghurt .Cooked by Phillip to perfection,all high quality ingredients.Phillip was equally polite and friendly.will stay again.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Warm reception and equally as nice on check out. Could come and go as I pleased. Value for money. Clean and good bathroom. Came down pretty much bang on check out time and was still offered brekkie. Will stay again if come back up north. 

On arrival we found 4t4, without any problems, in a housing estate a short distance from the centre of Alnwick. We were met with a warm and friendly welcome and shown to our respective en-suite rooms which were clean and roomy with TV, WiFi and tea, coffee and biscuits. We dined at a small hotel about a 5-minute walk away (The Oaky Hotel) where we had an excellent meal at a reasonable price.
We awoke in the morning, after a good nights sleep to bird-song which gave the feeling of being in the country rather than a housing estate. Breakfast was excellent with enough variety of choice and sufficient quantity to satisfy the most fastidious of diners.
The B&B is a short drive, 5-8 minutes from the town centre and proved to be an excellent choice for our over-night stay.
