Fantastic
51 reviewsWe stayed for 4 nights in room 307. It's a room on the first floor and has a sea view. Both room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Furniture may not be the newest but all functional. Big wardrobe, comfortable double bed, small table and chairs, mirror and TV on the wall. View is fantastic - to the nearby beach and small headland with the church.Windy evenings at the balcony watching the sunset with a bottle of albarino wine - superb. There is no air conditioning but it was quite windy througout our stay so we did not miss it as a fresh breeze through the balcony window was more than enough. Bathroom was very functional - it has a bathtub with curtains, washbasin and a shelf under the mirros provided enough space for our cosmetics. No complaints. Personnel is not speaking English but is very friendly and everything went flawlessly. Breakfast should be no-brainer - good selection of food, a coffee of your choice. To put it short - a great start of the day for just 4 euros. During the day on-site cafe is just for coffee or alcoholic beverages. They will be happy to cool a bottle of albarino for you but let them know in advance. Small beach just few minutes away, parking on-site. We liked the location but a vehicle is recommended as hotel is placed in the middle of the road. 500 metres up the road to Sanxenxo you'll find a small shop (fruits, bread, chorizo, jamon, beer, wine and many more). We can recommend a small bar right next to the nearby beach, where great and inexpensive seafood is served. Minor drawbacks: - for unknown reason wifi connection was sometimes not reliable (interruptions); - not many bars or restaurants in the closest neighbourhood (but I suppose everyone who gets there has a car). And a small fridge in the room would be very useful. It's a cosy, family-run hotel with great service and fine rooms. Definitely recommended. And it doesn't cost a fortune.
