This is such a nice place to stay!  The room is great and the staff are even better!  Even the wifi is amazing here which is critical to me.  And make sure to eat at the restaurant.  They have a special of a 3 course meal of authentic French food every day that is excellent.

We stayed on 2 separate nights. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable. Service is good and the staff is polite. There was free wifi available also in our room. Breakfast was better than in other places and is served with a view of Tana and the lake.

Le lotus bleu is a nice quiet (may be too quiet) hotel restaurant , well located as many restaurants can be reached by foot. Rooms are really clean, wi is working quite well, the staff is smiling, helpful and professional. 
You can eat at the restaurant, a different dish every day o the top of the menu. Pizzas are quite good, the menu of the day most of the time interesting.

Good for single, better for families, I will go back to the Lotus Bleu...

Awesome place to stay!

Good hotel in Tana

Good hotel, great location. Most of the staff is really helpful. I was planning on having dinner but they failed to inform me that the Restaurant wasn't opening, so I had to walked somewhere else.
They have staff/security that can walk you to other restaurants/bars at night. Avoiding walking alone at night, super helpful specially for lonely travellers like me.
Shower leaked everywhere and the shower head wouldn't hold/stant so I needed to hold it all the time.
It is alright and could improve in so many ways. Choose it for convinience but if other hotels have space would choose other ones because of price and quality.

A small hotel.  Clean, well kept, well staffed, safe and well sited. The bed was comfy, the shower was terrific, the desk and mirror were comfortable for writing, the wall dulled sound...No language barrier for English speakers.  A little overpriced for the standard of the amenities. ( no A/C,but the climate was cool)  I spent 4 nights here, because it suited my budget and it was located within easy reach, on foot,  of the sights I wanted to visit.

 The restaurant is best avoided. The included breakfast is poor value . For lunch and dinner, there are much better places to eat within easy walking distance ( 5 minutes ) covering luxury cuisine , good safe local fare or speciality pasta. The hotel will provide a security guard if you feel vulnerable. 
If you need an airport taxi , which I did, the hotel will call one.  Insist on one with working air con. I spent a hot  sweaty hour minus the cool I wanted.
