165 reviewsLa Casa di Pippinitto is an exceptionally beautiful place, especially in April: flowering trees and plants, birds singing, views of the ocean over the organic farm of fruit trees full of fruit (especially lemons). And from the orchard, with one's back to the ocean: Mt. Etna. Add to this glorious setting a very comfortable, spacious and clean room with a large attached bathroom, and plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and take in the fresh air and views. To top it off, an amazing breakfast (huge and so so good!) served in a lovely windowed common room. The gracious host Cesare is always available to answer questions. Be sure to book the guided small group tour of Mt. Etna with local geologist Carmelo (recommended by Cesare, who can provide contact details) which was the highlight of our Sicily trip. We had 3 nights here and could easily have stayed a week. We are already planning our return!
