B&B I Campanili

I decided to try this apartment for our 3 night stay in Monopoli.The apartment in the photos was the one I originally rented for 3 nights but someone else wanted it for a longer period of time so we were switched to her other apartment. The apartment was very clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom tiny but it had a nice size shower and plenty of hot water. There was a functional kitchen with a 4 burner stove and even an oven. There was a small table with 2 folding chairs. This was the only place to sit other than on the bed. The apartment is up a big flight of very steep stairs. It may be hard for some to navigate with heavy luggage. There was a nice rooftop patio with room to hang out laundry. There was AC in the bedroom. It worked well if you didn't try to make it too cold. Driving in Monopoli is a nightmare unless you arrive between 2 and 5 .During the siesta hours the place is a ghost town and fairly easy to navigate without traffic. Set your GPS for Largo Fontanelle. It is a small piazza with easy and plentiful parking,although still a little walk with luggage. If you are a good independent traveller this apartment would serve you well. It is a Bed and Breakfast only in that a room with breakfast is provided. Packaged pastries, juice and a coffee maker are left in the apartment for breakfast.
