Alma Terra Salento B&B

Our family of four spent four nights in Presicce to visit a nearby family member and spend relaxing time at the beach following our previous, busy two weeks of travel in larger cities in Italy. Our hosts Grazia and Salvatore were so hospitable, welcoming and friendly. They make you feel like you are staying with family. They provided excellent communication with us prior to arrival and throughout our stay. The overall home and our bedroom for our family of four exceeded our expectations. The spacious room was cool and comfortable thanks to welcoming air conditioning. The design of the entire house is bright and classic and I loved the high ceilings. The room cleanliness is immaculate. Our thoughtful hosts always asked us the night before regarding when we would like breakfast. And each morning we woke later and later. Every morning our tired young kids slept in while my husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee. Grazia patiently waited for the kids to wake up to prepare their warm drink or hot breakfast. We loved the fresh pomodori al pane each morning and Grazia was generous to offer us any type of breakfast food we requested. Each morning we enjoyed conversation with both Grazia and Salvatore using my basic Italian speaking skills (better comprehension), plus Salvatore’s working English skills plus some French. They are a lovely, inquisitive and charming couple with a passion for welcoming guests and providing excellent information regarding travel in and around the area. I was charmed by the architecture, landscape and people of the region of Salento and the local food and drink is delicious and very reasonably priced. Next time we will stay longer to explore the many historical towns and enjoy longer days at the beach. The temperature was in the high 30s every day which sapped the energy of our kids. I would definitely return to Alma Terra Salento B&B to stay with Grazia and Salvatore who are more like good friends than proprietors. Voi avete una casa bella e riposante. Grazie tanti!
