Murphy's of Killarney

What a great place! Terrific location great dining/accommodation package and all with a wonderful Killarney welcome! We stayed for three nights and fully enjoyed all they had to offer. We will be back!!

We recently stayed at Murphy’s as part of a ten day trip to Ireland.  Our room was comfortable and clean.  We were thankful that there is an elevator to get us up to our third floor room.  The coffee and tea making set up was convenient for an early cup of coffee and an afternoon cup of tea.
The reception area was beautifully decorated for Christmas as well as the bar.  Breakfast was delicious with several hot offerings and other cold options as well.  
We had dinner in the pub twice during our stay and the food was great!  
The entire staff was welcoming and lovely to talk to.  Thanks for a great stay!

Had a lovely stay here, the staff absolutely lovely, rooms clean and comfy, great location, deish breakfast. Brillant music in the bar. Have to give a special mention to Evan the night porter,a really lovely guy and an asset to any hotel.. I.ll definitely be back, thank you.

Our room was clean and spacious. On a busy night, the manager managed to get us a table for dinner. Also, we were able to get a continental breakfast before the normal opening time for breakfast.  Friendly staff.  They are centrally located. You can walk to many shops and restaurants and pubs.

Loved our family stay here. The rooms were spotless, food amazing and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely return! It is right in the centre of town with access to everything. High recommend this venue for family get aways

I cannot praise this hotel enough! We had an amazing stay and all the staff were wonderfully helpful and kind. The receptionist Mary helped us tremendously to make sure we were as comfortable as possible during our stay.  The rooms can get a little stuffy or warm at certain times of the day but they were happy to provide us with more fans and even offered to find another room option that might be more comfortable. The drinks and food in the restaurant were great as well. The hotel is also in a great location of Killarney with walking access to almost everything you would need! I would definitely come back on my next trip to Ireland!

We were greeted by a wonderful woman working at the reception, we were made very welcome and were given all the information we needed. The location was perfect in the centre of town, with a carpark very close by. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was really good, the staff serving were very friendly, helpful and professional. We would return and recommend Murphys Townhouse.

After parking in the town and lugging our cases to the hotel we were delighted to see a lift! We checked in and had a lovely chat with the receptionist, we then got the lift to the 3rd floor. The room was well sized and quiet which was good given the hotel's central location. Sadly we didn't see the fan in the wardrobe until the next morning as it would have been useful.
The bathroom was very clean, however, getting to the shower was a bit awkward and it wasn't super powerful.
We didn't use the bar or restaurant as we had plans elsewhere.

This wasn't the best value of our 8 Irish hotels, but it was the second best.  This hotel didn't have the biggest room and best in-room amenities, but it was second for both.  It didn't have the best pub/restaurant, it had the second best. Etcetera.  The hotel is located in Killarney's central business district, with dozens of pubs, restaurants and specialty stores within easy walking distance.  There's no on-site parking, but a car park across the street provides an overnight option. We ate in the pub twice, one dinner and one breakfast, both were very good. All in all we  would definitely stay here the next time we're in Killarney.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is terrific. The pub has a great vibe with live music. The food is excellent. The best bit is the staff they were friendly, helpful, funny and just delightful.

Lovely Accommodation and Pub

I would give 6 stars if I could!

Amazing staff

Well located 

We liked nearly everything and disliked nothing.

My wife and I spent two weeks traveling all across Ireland and this was by far our most enjoyable stay! All of the staff was phenominal and made us feel right at home. We had a great room on the top floor overlooking College St. The pub is so warm and inviting. We had breakfast and dinner in the pub every day of our stay and enjoyed the live traditional Irish music at night. Can't wait to go back again.....

Most Enjoyable Stay in All of Ireland!

The rooms are a good size and very clean.  The pub is conveniently downstairs with a nice breakfast bar.  We also ate dinner there and it was really good.  The staff is very helpful. They are on the main street and close to everything downtown. The only complaint we had is that the mattresses were really hard and uncomfortable and our room was overly warm.  We were there 3 nights so we were ready to leave. Other than that it's a great place to stay.

Great location and food

Cute bed and breakfast in Killarney. The front desk was kind enough to hold our luggage when we arrived in the morning but our room wasn’t ready yet, and then bring our bags up to our room. You’re given a physical key for the room. The elevator wasn’t working when we stayed there, but the stairs weren’t too bad. It’s connected to the Murphys Bar, which was where breakfast was also served from 8:30-10am. We had dinner there as well, and left right before they had a darts competition. 

The room was spacious, though it was a bit cold. We had a TV and a dryer. The shower was a tub. The location was good and we were close to the pubs we wanted to visit (ie The Shire). Overall, a quaint spot for a stay in Killarney.

Quaint bed and breakfast

We booked a family room , which consisted of one double and  one single bed for a night. Easy check in, comfortable room and beds. Spacious bathroom with good shower. Brilliant location with all amenities on your doorstep . Pay parking available at a few locations within a short walk. We had dinner and breakfast at Murphy’s , food was good. All staff members were great and very helpful. Dave in the bar is a real character, there was live trad music and we had a great night. Could have stayed longer and it will definitely be our first choice when we visit Killarney again.

Great place to stay

Thanks Sean, David and the rest of the amazing staff for a wonderful welcome and stay in Killarney! The entire experience was lovely! Great atmosphere, food and accommodations! Already planning my next trip back! Stayed 2 nights and had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the quaint dining area. Enjoyed both the house bands!
