Fantastic
G-Land Bobs Surf Camp, thank you so much to all the local friendly staff that goes out of their way to make your stay the best one! We stayed in Superior Cabanas with air con, hot water and super confy bed! Toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, filtered water, bar fridge (remember to bring your snacks from Bali), bed linen, TV which I thought we were not going to use, but after a huge surf session it was very nice to lie down and watch some NatGeographic :) Don’t make eye contact with the monkeys and you will be fine. Watch your steps, some tree snakes around, not venemous, but better not stand on them. Keep everything inside the room, the monkeys are very cheeky, and don’t leave anything unattended in the eating area, the monkeys will get it. We sow them going up the tree with a bag of fins. THE WAVES At the low tide you can surf Kongs (first session), still lots of water there, some nice big take-offs. Just defenently bring your booties, will make your life much easier to go in and out. Ask the locals/Surfers where is the KeyHole, we found to be the easiest and safest spot to get in and out at any tide, they also call the green carpet. ;) Moneytrees is the next session, faster and more barreling, super fun when 4-6ft, then Launching pads which sometimes connects from moneytrees where I got a solid 7ft barrel and died happily inside, and then the narlie but perfect Speedies (if your barrel skills is up to date, go for it, but be careful, suuuper shallow, doesn’t work in the low tide, mid to high only) And if you wanna have an easier surf, and the staff to take you to Tiger Tracks. It’s our last day today and we are already planning to come back here. Ah, remember to get massages, they very affordable and super good. Ask for Paulo or Jackie at the camp. They also great chess buddies, had some good games. And last by not least, Bintang time every sunset after a day of great surf! A really cold beer by the beach wraps up the day like nothing would! Bobs Surf Camp in right at the front of all these breaks. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! Terimakasi! 🙏🏾🤙🏾🌊
