471 reviewsOur stay at this beautiful Kashmiri houseboat was nothing short of extraordinary. Amidst the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, we found ourselves unable to leave Srinagar. However, the warmth and unwavering support of the houseboat owner and his dedicated staff turned our challenging situation into a memorable and safe experience. In times of deep anxiety and fear , they were kind enough to house us at their own home and drove us all the way to Katra safely , so we could board a train to Delhi .
