75 reviewsWhat a find! We cannot recommend City B&B Cochem highly enough. After a long drive from the UK, we were greeted by Bas at the door and, throughout our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. We were shown our reserved parking spot, our room "Lancelot" (which had a fully stocked kitchenette & dining table area, including mini bar), well equipped bedroom, dressing area and en-suite. It was all of a high standard. Bas was very well prepared with suggestions for things to do, see and eat. Bas made us feel quickly at home. After a restful nights sleep City B&B puts on an exceptional breakfast. I had forgotten to inform City B&B that I am gluten intolerant. Although this would have been good for City B&B to have been informed in advance, this seemed to be no trouble at all. I was catered for much better than I have at any UK hotel. We initially booked City B&B for its proximity to the castle, where we had booked to enjoy a medieval banquet beforehand, but feel we did far more than expected due to Bas' information and guidance. We will definitely go back to Cochem again, as there is still lots to explore and look forward to staying at City B&B again soon.
