Toronto Guest House

Toronto guest house is always on our list when we come to Addis since 2011. The owners have changed but we were not disapponted once. The rooms are clean, food is very nice and staff very friendly. We really enjoy our stay. Really want to express our gratitude for hospitality! 

Nice quiet hotel, located in  a safe neighborhood of Addis. The owner and stuff are friendly and will happily  help you to find your way to the main attractions.

After two calm night we are ready to start our journey in the countryside!!



I've enjoyed my stay at Toronto Guest House very much! The staff at this hotel is extremely friendly, very welcoming, and ready to help with anything. They really make you feel at home from the start. This hotel has clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The bathrooms are clean and both toilet and shower are working well. A good breakfast is included, and you can order lunch and dinner as well. Both the local and non-local food is delicious! Wifi is working very good as well. There is also a rooftop patio which provides a nice vieuw on the Addis skyline. In the immediate surroundings, there are plenty of restaurants and coffee houses, and the overall ambient is very peaceful. There is a pizzeria right next door as well as a bank and ATM.
I will come again for sure!

Toronto is an excellent place. It's got clean rooms, generally comfortable beds, good food, but most of all a great staff. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The owner is always around and always warm, ready to joke. Even the fellow guests are great. 
I stayed at Toronto several times over the course of 3 months in Ethiopia and each time I was pleased. It is a bit expensive but it is on par with Addis prices and you are sure to have hot water, an excellent bathroom, and good amenities (excellent breakfast and coffee). 

They let me store some things as I was coming and going. I made several friends while there who stay for extended periods on business, all sang Toronto's praises for accommodation.

The location is a bit unique and tucked away, it is close to some great places to eat and definitely an interesting night scene. Business people, locals, and non-traditional travelers can be found here

My Go-To place in Addis

Very cozy place 

Soft landing in Ethiopia

The management has changed recently. The prices are more expensive now. The new manager refused to arrange a taxi. He told us that we could look for a taxi on the street (at 5 am).
And it's a very noisy place (not the hotel, the night clubs near the hotel). Impossible to sleep.
