My first time here, but hopefully it won't be my last. As part of a group of 7 bikers we chose this hotel as our base for a 4 night break. From the second we arrived to the good bye hug, Rosie could not have made me feel more welcome. My room was clean warm and comfortable and the en suite was more than adequate. With a well stocked bar and great pub food, friendly staff and a cute little dog, apres riding was most enjoyable. If you are used to staying in sterile faceless main chain hotels this isn't the place for you. It's a lovely old building which is a little dogeared but has a warm cosy feel to it. Everything about the stay was layed back. It was more like turning up to your aunty's house unannounced and being thoroughly looked after. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, I can't wait.
