Wanjia Oriental Hotel

Stayed here for 4 nights and pleasantly surprised with the hotel room's amenities. There is daily fresh supply of towels (small, medium, large), soap, shampoo, dental kits, comb, and tea. There is no complimentary water but they have a dispenser at the lobby. With less than 27 usd per night, the room was already big - around 20 sq.m. and there was free buffet breakfast (Chinese breakfast). Just eat early because they don't replenish the food past 9 am. As for the direction, it wasn't very hard. We took a cab from airport at 12 midnight and the driver hadn't have a hard time (we showed a map from their website as we don't speak chinese). The hotel's name was in Chinese as well. We paid around 70 rmb. Another good thing is that the bus stop is just 5-min walk and there are a lot of shops in the vicinity. Wifi is fast too. The front desk staff were helpful but they don't speak english (they use translation app instead). Everything in Xiamen is in Chinese, so you have to be really good at remembering places, reading maps and body language.
