Junlin Hotel (Yangshuo West Street Central Plaza Branch)

We stayed here on our visit to see the liyiang river. I had to cross reference photos and addresses from google to determine that we really stayed here because the name on the building when we were there is "Vienna International Hotel". I'm certain its the same place from the lobby picture on google and the address that matches it on tripadvisor. You don't mistake a double staircase framing a two story bas-relief sculpture behind the reception desk between the staircases that I have a picture of. We were impressed with the architecture of the lobby. There are a few small businesses renting alcoves around the lobby providing sundry items, etc. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but their english is limited. We got by because we had two native chinese speakers. The rooms were quite nice - clean, well maintained, attractive, comfortable beds, well appointed bathrooms. There appeared to be meeting space capable of supporting perhaps several dozen people in multiple rooms. There was no restaurant in the hotel, we ate out around the corner. This is a very nice place to stay and enjoy tours on the river, or see the water drama nearby, however you really need a chinese speaker in the group to enjoy this place.
