This hotel is not fancy, but it is very clean, very close to the airport and has fantastic friendly service and a free shuttle to the airport. My friends and I did not have an overnight stay planned in Chengdu, but due to unexpected weather conditions and consequent flight cancellations, we required an overnight hotel at the last minute. Through another friend we found our way late at night to the Ming Kang where we were welcomed with open arms, given clean, warm rooms and then driven to the airport the following morning. The hotel is basic with squat toilets BUT it is as clean as a whistle, inexpensive and you could not ask for friendlier service.
