This is an elegant Victorian B&B with a fabulous breakfast. Mary Anne was a wonderful host and our room was beautiful and very clean. 

We discovered that the legendary Holman's Ice Cream in Summerside is closed on Sundays! That was our only disappointment.

We only stayed one night, which felt like enough for this small town. It was an easy drive to Cavendish beach from Summerside the next day.

The Summerside Inn host was a welcoming gracious person. The Inns Victorian history is well maintained and provides a feel of historic comfort.  Our host prepared both sweet and savoury breakfasts that were absolutely delicious!  We will definitely keep this spot on our list for future travel.

Lovely B and B in Summerside walking distance to the Summerside boardwalk and restaurants.  Lovely historical rooms with a beautiful dinning room for breakfast.  The breakfast was devious and the service was great.

Maryanne our host was very accommodating and friendly!   Her breakfasts were out of this world served on fine China and Crystal bowls!  Eggs Benedict was delicious!  Thank you Maryanne! 

The Summerside Inn was the perfect place to stay on PEI. The house is beautiful, with its Victorian wooden staircases, doors, and working wood fireplaces. We walked 6 miles every morning, exploring the stately houses and buildings of Summerside, and there are good restaurants within easy walking distance. The house was so quiet, as was our room - and our room was bright, cheery and very comfortable. By far the best part of Summerside Inn is Mary Ann. She is so warm and welcoming, and an outstanding cook - and we loved chatting with her! We didn't want to leave!

This was our first trip to PEI and Summerside was our first stop on our two-week trip. The inn is beautiful, yet comfortable. So often, we’ve stayed in older places that were lovely to look at, but not so comfortable for sitting, chatting, hanging out, or sleeping. The Summerside Inn covered all the bases wonderfully. We stayed in the Winter Room and loved it. The bed, even though antique in feel, was solid in feel with one of the most comfortable mattresses you’ll ever sleep on. The bathroom in this suite has an old claw foot tub that can be difficult to climb into if your balance or agility aren’t great, but we loved it. Breakfast was tasty and consisted of a couple of courses which allows for flexibility if you’re a breakfast lover (my husband) or not (that would be me). 

There is plenty to do and see whether it be on foot or by car. The island is small enough that you can get to a lot of things in about a half an hour. And, for ice cream lovers, Holman’s is just a block away. We also recommend Moment’s Cafe - Chinese food that is prepped and cooked fresh to order and bubble waffles! So delicious. 

One of the fun aspects of B&Bs is when your hosts create a space where you feel comfortable and welcomed. That was very evident at the Summerside Inn. You could be on the go each day or just as easily hang out all day, reading, talking with other guests, talking with Mary Ann, enjoying her very friendly and very cuddly little dog, or listening in on a guitar lesson given by Tim to one of the local residents. All in all, a restful stay in a beautiful inn.

My wife and I were traveling through the Maritimes. One of our stops was in Summerside PEI. We stayed at this wonderful B&B. From classic decor to our accommodations to the hostess (Mary Ann was very helpful and patient with any questions) and breakfast (eggs Benedict accompanied by fresh fruit and pastries) we had an excellent stay. 

We stayed here for 2 night at the beginning of July 2019 and got a room upgrade due to another couple's arrival date change, which was a nice surprise.  One evening we had a delightful conversation with some other guests and Mary Anne.  We walked downtown for dinner one night and walked for ice cream the other night.   Mary Anne was a wonderful host and made a top notch breakfast and we would definitely stay here again.

This would be our first and only choice for accomodations  in PEI. Delicious breakfasts, comfortable surroundings and wonderful hosts. 
Each room is unique and clean.  Your breakfast is served on fine china with gold flatware.

Located on a quiet side street, this wonderful property is within walking distance of sites in downtown Summerside. The Victorian era house and furnishings are well maintained by the owners, and the room we had was magnificent. Large canopy bed, antique furniture throughout. The morning breakfast is served hot and is terrific. Great Inn and great hosts.

My husband and I have nothing but good to express about our stay at Summerside Inn Bed & Breakfast.

Mary Ann is a gracious hostess that made sure we had everything we needed during our brief  stay and served us the most delicious breakfasts during the duration of our visit ~ we guarantee ~ you will not leave her table famished. 

The 1800’s heritage house was something to be spoken for. From the antique detailed furniture to the slight touch of modern day necessities  ~ we felt like we travelled back in time ~ well done Mary Ann :)

We highly recommended you seek out your future stay at Summerside Inn Bed & Breakfast -~ it is quaint, classy and it is located in close proximity to everything what Summerside has to offer.

First time travel to PEI and it did not disappoint :)

Relax at the Summerside B&B

My husband & I stayed at Summerside Inn B & B for 2 nights while we visited the Western side of PEI. The Inn is beautifully decorated with antiques and period artwork, and our room was immaculate and the queen bed was super comfy. Mary Anne’s breakfasts were a highlight—delicious fresh fruit, omelets one day and French toast and bacon the next.

We stayed one night, which was our only night on PEI. The Inn is located on a quiet street three or four blocks from the Summerside waterfront. Our room was on the third floor and was large with nice furnishings.  The hostess was welcoming and warm.  Breakfast was a cooked to order vegetable omelet and fresh fruit.  It was excellent.  I liked the fact that breakfast was served at a large table rather than separate tables. 
 It encouraged conversation with the other guests.  Overall it was a great experience.
