Villa les Paquerettes

Location of this B&B is good, easy walking distance to the beachfront and to the center of town. The place doesn't offer parking, but can give you tips when and where to park. We spent quite some time trying to find street parking, and managed in the end, but it took some effort. Not the responsibility of the B&B to offer parking, but something to be aware of. Timing can be important in finding parking (Saturday afternoon turned out to be a poor choice of arriving). We were welcomed with a cup of coffee and a nice chat with the owner, a very good first impression and start of the stay. Our room/studio was at the top floor. The stairs are typical Dutch/Flemish steep and narrow. Not a problem for us, but another thing to be aware of, especially if you have heavy or bulky luggage. The room was spacious, modern, and had everything we needed. It also had a terrace with a nice view over the rooftops. Breakfast was excellent, freshly made and served every day by the owner. He also explained what everything was and where it was sourced, which added a nice touch. The owner also gave us tips of what to do and see in the area, and there is also a host of information in the common room of the B&B. Overall a very nice stay, and definitely recommended.
