Looks as though recently renovated, we had an apartment room with kitchen area. Everything looked brand new.
Reception staff very professional, helpful.
Other staff not so friendly, the hotel mainly serves german and Dutch, downside was no literature in the hotel had an english translation.
Great location opp beach, tram stop.
Live music and dancing on the sat eve.
Buffet restaurant limited choice of food.


Spacious and clean on the 8 floor, splendid views overlooking ocean with miles of sandy beach. Very friendly staff, could be a difficulty in parking, we managed to park for free just along from the hotel. Sadly didn't have time to use the pool or other activities. 
Within easy reach of motorway and Brugge. Trams stop in front of hotel for ease of sightseeing, shopping etc, very convenient. Buffet breakfast - plenty of choice.
Summary: great place to stay - good value - will return.

This place sports great apartments. Spacious and clean. Recently refurbished. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. Many apartments have a sea view. We really enjoyed our time there and would go back any time

It's more like a leisure complex building than a mere hotel. If you have young kids with you, you will be happy, particularly in summer time, in my opinion. Breakfast was quite extensive but there are so many young children running around in the big dining room, 
so quite noisy and felt restless. The room was spacious, clean, so no problem.
It is a bit off position from the central, so you need to have a car or ride on a tram 
if you want to dine outside the hotel.

Lovely place to spend a few days away from Brexit and to realise life doesnt evolve around England.
People here speak Flemish...the food available is typical and local from the area. 
Its peaceful and it's great for families and for older people. Great location by beautiful sandy beaches and you can get a tram opposite the hotel which takes to into the town centre in 10 minutes.
Dog friendly.
3 different restaurants

The only down side is the fitness centre which needs a bit updating. 
Friendly staff who will speak to you in English when they realise you are not the typical Costas Brit.

Stayed here for the Christmas markets. Hotel clean and friendly. Only criticism is no kettle in room and toilet paper is the cheap stuff. That said, would stay again. Dinner and breakfast very nice. Beds soft, huge shower. Travelled by coach so not sure on parking facilities.

As we were going to the coast in March we decided to book a hotel with a few more indoor facilities in case of bad weather.
We were very happy with this place.  We chose the 'basic' family suites, which indeed were basic, but spacious and clean, perfect for families with small children. Ours had a great sea view too, though this is not for all..
Good swimming pool. Large play area and a kids club (at least in the holiday week we were there).
Very good buffet breakfast and dinner buffets (though quite expensive if booked separately from your stay).

Only minor complaint was that our group of 7 families were rather spread out over the hotel, and it would have been nicer to be situated in the same area if possible.


We stayed here while on a long weekend trip with Majestic coach Tours would stay again Food was good staff very polite and rooms were very clean and well maintained . Hotel is situated on the sea front lovely sandy beach and very flat for walking .

Spacious, clean, new

Clean comfortable room. Nice location across from the beach, and just minutes from the tram, which will take you to town centre. Parking is very limited and comes with a charge. We managed to nap one of the few free parking places on the street. 

Only ate breakfast here, which was pretty good - though don't try to take an apple away with you!

I booked this hotel as it had a good sized pool and advertised a steam room. However, the pool didn't open until 10am, and with checkout at 10.30 it was impossible to take advantage of it. We paid extra to use the steam room, which turned out to be tiny and was occupied with children who had not paid to enter - so we didn't get to use this either. When I raised this with reception as we checked out, I was told they could not refund...

Not likely to here stay again.

OK hotel, but would not stay again

I stayed on a four night coach trip with an English coach company.
Definitely made to feel like second class citizens by reception staff. I was told that we ( the coach company  clients) weren’t “entitled “ to tea and coffee and cups in the rooms. However, I was grudgingly given one paper cup by the reception staff, as I had single occupancy. The rooms were not serviced on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th days of our stay, so bins weren’t emptied and bathrooms not cleaned, because we were with the coach company.
Nothing was written in English.
Self service cafeteria style breakfast and dinner, but plenty of food and fairly good variety and freshness considering the enormous number of guests. Free wine and lager with dinner.
That said my room was large and  very comfortable and surprisingly quiet on the 8th floor and it’s in a great location on the seafront with tram stop in front, with 15 minute ride into Ostend.
Major downside for me was that hotel allows smoking on bedroom verandas and there is no barrier between the rooms, so my neighbour was a chain smoker and I just didn’t want to go out on the veranda because of the smoke blowing in my way and into my room with veranda doors open.
But all in all a very slick operation and I would imagine in the summer it would packed with families, because of the fabulous beaches in front.
