Lovely well equipped apartments, spacious, the caretaker was very helpful with my requests.
Close to shops and a 7/11 
I highly recommend staying there.
We will definitely stay there again

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and allowed us a late checkout

Rooms are large and have everything however they are a bit run down. They all need a good clean and refresh. Need better cooling in the bedrooms and would be better if single beds were bunks as it’s not good having kids right next to an opening door. No lift so be prepared to walk the stairs with all your stuff. Not enough equipment in the kitchen no trays and only 1 saucepan. It will do but I’m sure there are better places 

Ok for a budget price 

This apartment is old and has 3 levels (with no elevator). Some residents live on site but generally it is a quiet place to stay.

Parking is in the basement. This review is based on two apartments both with 2 rooms. The location to Runaway Bay is ideal and some rooms have a water view. Depending on the booking the apartment style can vary for example, my apartment had 2 airconditioners with only 1 aircon in a bedroom, the other bedroom had a fan. Both airconditioners were dirty and poorly maintained. In the other apartment there were NO airconditioners in the bedrooms and 1 unit in the living room.  

My apartment had Foxtel, the other didnt (and wasnt connected). My bathroom never drained properly and hence water ponded and never drained.

Not all units have clothes driers. There was no internet in the apartment. There was one light (out of 2 in the laundry).  One of the 2 bedside table lights worked.

Apart from the outstanding maintenance issues and lack of airconditioning in the bedroom, the apartment was comfortable and a reasonable size. The apartment manager was very helpful during my stay.

We stayed here with our family. Easy to find from main road and parking is also easy which is great. 

We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious for our needs. The apartment was relatively clean. 

For $300 a night it could have better value for money with the following issues:
- Sliding doors very hard to open
- Light in main bedroom kept Turing on as it’s on a remote, very annoying 
- Lounges broken
- Some dining chairs broken 
- Blind in main bedroom broken 
- Fans needing a good clean

This apartment needs a good upgrade to charge the tariffs being charged. 

On a positive note, the pool and bbq areas are very clean and tidy. Maybe it’s the guy at 7:30am using his blower keeping these areas looking great?

Average Stay - Could be better value for money

We stayed in room 36 for 6 nights during the Christmas period. The room was rundown, it was dirty, the furniture was tired looking, the single beds were uncomfortable and felt unstable, the carpet was marked.  There are BBQ facilities but no utensils are provided or plastic bowls etc that you would expect. It needs new carpet, fresh paint and updated furniture. The intercom phone was filthy. The garden area was quite nice but the pool could have been cleaned more regularly given the amount of people who were staying there. I had relatives staying in other apartments who were equally disappointed. For the hefty money we paid during the Xmas period it was a complete rip-off. Spend your money elsewhere.

Very disappointed

Firstly, I will blame Flight Centre for the poor booking. Asked for a place near the beach, 2 bedrooms with a kitchen so needed an apartment, place with air conditioning and internet. Got nothing that I asked for. Only internet is in reception!! Talk about false advertising. It’s not like there was a budget issue. This place does not have any bus shuttles come past - transport is next to none. So you either have to get a taxi/Uber just to go get some milk or walk for about 1 hour one way. It’s old and dingy, have to hold the shower nozzle and wash urself at same time cos nozzle won’t stay on wall. Place smells and looks like the 60s! Cassie from Flight Centre has a lot to answer for. Will NEVER EVER EVER use Flight Centre again. This is definitely not a place to bring your teenage kids.
