This property is fantastic. It is located in the park so the entry and exit times are limited to 8am-8pm but that’s perfectly fine! The view of the volcano is super amazing! The food is wonderful! And the staff is more than attentive! Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. The room was spotless and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the standout features was how quiet the environment was, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. I also felt very safe throughout my stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a place to rest and unwind, Casa 1800 does not disappoint. I found it to be so peaceful and relaxing. My room had the volcano view. I chose this hotel to stay for the first few days of my trip to El Salvador because I wanted to do the Santa Ana Volcano hike. If you're into hiking, staying here puts you right at the trails. My room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. It does get a little chilly at night and in the morning, but by midday, it heats up to a nice comfortable temperature. The hotel has one restaurant. Food was decent, traditional breakfast is included. Staff is nice, although many do not speak English, so if you speak a little Spanish, that's a plus. Just know, outside of the hikes available, there is not much else to do. So if you are looking to explore more areas, you should book an excursion. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Peaceful Stay

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is wonderful. They contacted us by what's app before check in which was so useful! We communicated again by what's app when they were arranging a transport for us. The food was delicious and fresh. If you're going to climb santa Ana , it's the perfect base. Jist a 2 minute walk to the entrance and great vendors located there also. I cannot recommend it enough! The only 2 negatives were that the shower water was only Luke.warm and we smelt a sewage smell whenever we closed the bathroom window

Beautiful hotel! It’s so modern and well kept. The foliage was spectacular and the volcano view was unforgettable.The weather was cooler and a nice break from the heat and humidity.  We enjoyed the full made to order breakfast that was from 8-11am and included nearly the entire breakfast menu. The room itself was 2 queen beds and a living room area. The slider opened with a backyard available to hang out in. The bathroom was small but just fine. The only suggestion would be to include screens on either the windows or the slider or both. We were a little warm and couldn’t really keep the window open to air the room out without letting a few bugs in. A screen door or window would’ve fixed that. The restaurant was hit or miss with other meals but the parillazo was delicious and plenty of food. Room service was available for meals and we took advantage of that. The first night we walked down to the stands and did a little shopping and ate dinner there. The food was delicious and much more affordable. Make sure to go earlier than later as food starts to run out.

Beautiful place. Keep in mind hotel is located inside the National park. National park has hours of operation from 8am to 8pm, before and after those hours the gates are locked. Good luck getting them to open it. Would definitely stay there again but only for one night unless doing multiple summits to the volcanoes

Well. The property and views were magnificent. However.  There were some issues.  Mostly with the restaurant. They were so extremely Slow and had Bad service.  They seemed xond with knowing what was on the menu.  And we didn't get checked on often.  Making us feel ignored. I alsoAsk for skim milk. Got whole milk spent the night in stomach pains.The shampoo and conditioner and soap were in containers that were cheap and easily broken when I pushed down on the pump.  Other than that. The rest was very good. Especially when we got caught by the rain storm and slowed us down. The hotel staff was very kind to be available for us.  Special thanks for that.

Situated inside the national park at 2000m elevation, the hotel offers cool air and excellent hikes to Santa Ana and Izalko from the national park headquarters nearby as well as superb views of the volcanoes and lake Coatepeque. The rooms are comfortable, the dinner in the local restaurant is good and reasonably prices, wifi works well, good breakfast and coffee maker in the room is a nice touch.

Excellent for hiking volcanoes

The place is very clean, but they have a list of items to charge if broken or lost and it is obvious but for example, $15 if the key of the room gets lost, really? Also when we checked in, the receptionist was not very friendly, but besides this, everybody else was super nice and the place is beautiful.

I stayed for 1 night. The view is pretty unbeatable and worth any price. I understand that the area usually remains cool, however a fan would be appreciated on the rooms, as well as a mini fridge if possible. The pupusas and breakfast were ok for local standards, and would be certainly enjoyed by foreigners.If you are driving, you will have to pay a small entrance fee to Cerro Verde, and as this allows you to walk around the park, you will not regret it! Hotel and restaurant staff were great 👍

Check in process was easy. Area is so quiet, it’s a nice break from the hussle of the city so this is definitely more of a quiet retreat. I wish I would’ve stayed more than one night. I was a bit bummed that it was so foggy when we checked in, but thankfully to our surprise it cleared up in the morning and we got the beautiful volcano view! It’s breathtaking and feels surreal. Restaurant staff was not very attentive during the lunch/dinner time, but breakfast was a better experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of breakfasts included in the price. I will definitely be coming back!
