I always stay here when I’m in Nuweiba last time I stay at sawa camp was in December 2013.
 I am happy to be back lots of good changes in the camp and the restaurant. 
 Huge huts more comfortable ,foods very delicious like before everything still beautiful and clean.
 The sharing toilets spotless.
 Snorkelling is amazing but less fish this time.

I live in Cairo and chose the Sawa Camp because of its excellent reviews It is a wonderful place. Pleasant warm weather. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I wish I can live there forever.
The coral reef right in front of the camp. The snorkeling was exceptional.
Huts are simple in very great location facing the amazing red sea.

I stayed for 4 days and I really liked it. I'm a female solo traveler and felt safe at any time during my stay. The owner, Salama, is a nice man and speaks English very well. Also, the staff is attentive and very polite. Camp and beach are kept perfectly clean. 
There were only four other guests, it's not very busy in all of Sinai theses days.  I had vegetarian half board and was happy about the food. It's fresh, tasty and healthy.  
I slept well in my little hut on the beach. It's a simple but very relaxing life in camp Sawa. You can grab a book out of the camp's library, chill in your hammock, take a dip in the sea or admire the incredible starry sky at night. There's not much else to do.  I got up and went to bed with the sun during my stay. There is a light bulb in the hut though. 

Most of the camps in the bay are deserted, it's kind of a post-apocalyptic atmosphere with ruins an wasteland. But this applies to the whole area between Taba and Nuweiba. And somehow I like lost places. 

The beach is sandy, no pebbles,  shallow hip-deep water, perfect for kids. You reach deep water after passing the reef in about 100m distance from the shore, which can be kind of onerous during low-tide.  About 20-30m from the shore the underground becomes stony with enormous sea urchins to be seen, so bring water shoes. Sadly the reef is in bad condition that's the only taint.
There is no sign by the street, I had to use Google Maps to find the camp.

Sawa camp is a beautiful place in a mesmerizing landscape. Far away from the touristic masses, it is ideal for relaxing break for couples. 

We stayed for 3 days, near the beach the huts are clean and basic requirements.

The staffs are doing everything to make you feel comfortable in a very cozy and familiar atmosphere.

 The service is outstanding. Snorkelling is great, even for beginners.

We will absolutely come back, once you find this place, you fall in love with it.

My time at Sawa Camp was amazing. I came there alone just to relax for a few days in calmness and it was the perfect place for me. The huts are directly at the beach, everything is very clean and beautiful there. The hosts were really kind, nice and helpful. They also organised a taxi for me which picked me up at the border as well as a trip to Mount Sinai. The food was cheap and delicious, for the included breakfast you could choose from a lot of different things. The coral reef there is beautiful and directly at the beach where you sleep. Snorkeling equipment is for free. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definetly come back! :)

Lovely, clean beach. Nice staff. Salama, the owner, is very helpful. The huts have comfortable thick mattresses with a hammock on the little terrace (US$12 including breakfast). Food is better than most and reasonably priced. Shower/toilet facilities are kept clean. There's a small library, but most books are in German. This camp is a little different to many of the others on this stretch of Sinai - the crowd skews a little older. It's the perfect place for a couple or a lone traveller, on a budget but still wants comfort, and looking to get away from it all.
