I had a lot of questionable experiences in Egypt, but Boomerang was not one of them. The staff is fantastic and honest. In addition to being good hosts, you can trust them to get you the correct prices for things in Egypt. Knowing the right price for things are exhausting and it's super easy to be scammed (even hostels do this). Having someone that is looking out for you in all ways, from safety to prices, makes a world of difference and was one of the reasons I extended my stay in Luxor.  

That means that the 100$ tour that you were overcharged for because you didn't know better they won't recommend and instead recommend the east and west bank for ~8 dollars total!(and good quality btw). Because they are here to help, not hurt. 

Breakfast is really good and the atmosphere is chill. Internet was the biggest downside of the hostel, but Egypt has one of the worst internets in Africa so not sure how much of it was on the hostel. My room had A/C and the bed was good. I would go onto the rooftop in the morning and it was fanstastic. 

The best part about the hostel is the staff and the fact that you can feel at home. I was super glad I went to Bob Marley hostel and it was my best stay in Egypt. I can luckily say after my time in Egypt that I made at least 1 Egyptian friend. Thanks Amr for the company!

We were really surprised to find such a lightning-clean yet affordable hotel.In Luxor.The management is friendly, helpful and unconventional, without being in the least intrusive.The breakfast is opulent, the atmosphere is great, especially the roof garden. Everything was so relaxed that we stayed far longer than originally planned.

The Traveller's Meeting Place in Luxor

Dropped in for evening meal at the Boomerang Hotel in Lavington, near Albury.  Special was Chicken Parma including a free beer.  Meal was very good and very good value at $15.  Certainly worth a visit especially if staying at one of the local motels.

Bistro on Thursday night

Since the booking, super easy and super friendly. 
They arrange our airport pick up for a reasonable price. 
Rooms have good mattresses and pillows, they have a fan an a air con, balcony, night table and closet. Bathrooms are spotless clean always, always always. So if you have a share bathroom you don't have to worry about it. They even give you hand towels, HAND towels! yes in a hostel! hand soap, shower towels of course... we were happy happy, comfy, comfy. 
Staff is helpful, happy and available. The breakfast is so, so good, for the price is super complete. 
We booked with them a private car and even a sailing the nile thing-i. They where there to advise, help and book. 
It's walking distance to Luxor temple and the museum. Right next to the best restaurant we tried in Luxor. 
We had to climb plenty of stairs to get to our room, which of course if you're fit and keen no problem, but if you're broken somehow... make sure you let them know. 
and blah! I recommend, I would go back.

Great, Great, Great!!!

Ever since you entered the house, the lady who was there for us has always been a good person, as has her husband, who also works there. I really didn't expect to find a place like this in Luxor, but I'm amazed at how life has surprised me.

It's all right.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hostel, and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and clean, with air-con, fan, mosquito nets and good beds. Our bath room was outside our room, but private, so not a problem at all. There is a nice roof top, and they serve you a great breakfast for 15 LE with eggs and ham. But the best thing is the service. The staff was always very friendly, spoke good english, and always went the extra mile to help us planning our visits and tours, without pushing their own tours. They even helped us make a teacher card that got us a 50% discount on every temple and museum in the country (and that turned out to be a huge amount of money saved!) They can also arrange airport pick up for a very reasonable price (65 LE or 75 LE at night), which was great for us arriving at 1am at the airport. Overall, a really good value for the price, and a great service. I would absolutely go back!

Great place to stay on the East Bank

We booked a triple room for 3 friends to see the good reviews and the good price. On arrival on the bus we were expecting a person, without having asked for it and without having been notified!!!!!!! Upon arrival they gave us the best treatment we have received in Egypt in terms of hotels in 10 days. They gave us a map and the possibility of hiring some very good excursions at a very good price as well. The wifi works, the breakfast is good, it has a rooftop where to smoke shisha and drink a few beers. The bathrooms are clean and the area is noisy. On the last day we had the train.

 GENIAL

It's hard to believe that they've hidden such a baker's jewel in the back streets of Luxor. Very nice reception, cheap rooms and a great roof terrace with cash. And it's really clean. The first time I slept in Egypt without any worries without a sleeping bag. That doesn't make the big hotels any better.

Best hostel in Egypt

A small hotel run by a young Australian woman and her assistant: Omar.The hotel is impeccable, never seen such a clean hotel in Egypt.N, don't hesitate to take a room with a bathroom to share, it's usually personal.The breakfast is very nice.The terrace is very well furnished, you can have a good time and get drinks at a competitive price.All for a price of £50 E.Bravo!
